• get over it

  my conclusion of the day :: 焦ってもしょうがない 長い一日が終った。今日は朝８時から夜の１時まで学校にいた。なんてこった。あ、でも今日はバッスーンの先生の家にレッスンを受けに行ったから一日学校にいたわけじゃないか。ほとんどの人は知ってると思うけど冬休みの間に髪の毛をピンクにそめたんだ。でもその先生とは去年の１１月以来あってないから私の髪をみたとたん、「your hair is pink, is that on purpose?」ってきかれた。あはは。なんちゅう質問だ。no, its by accident...my hair grew in the wrong color って言い返してやった。で、その先生ん家には白くて、きれいな猫がいた。名前は「みそ」だって。かわいいね。白くてフワフワだった。。。白みそ。ふふ。う～ん、明日も長い一日だ。。。今週、早く終っておくれ。あ、そういえばいつの間に８０００ヒット超えてるし。祝。でも誰かわかんない。comcastをつかっている人みたい。もしかしたら、そこのあなたでは？

• when hell freezes over

  忙しいです。普通に。ってか、しんどいです。今週末はちょっとなまけちゃいました。。。いや、木金土はパフォーマンスがあったり色々あったから練習できませんでした。でも昨日はちょっとなまけちゃいました。お昼過ぎまで寝てろくに練習はしませんでした。本当はやることいっぱいあったんだけどもう疲れてなにもやる気がでませんでした。そのせいで今週はきつくなりそうです。どうしよう。ぱにくってます。スケジュールを書き出すときりがないので、書きません。でも忙しいです。だれか助けてぇ～～。

  最近先生がウザイ。はっきりいってむかつく。she thinks she knows me so well, but she doesnt.she thinks shes always right, but shes not.she thinks she knows everything, but she is so clueless.shes got problems.あー言う人をメンターにしたくないなって最近思う。彼女は上っ面がすごく良いから今まで全然気付かなかったけど、本当の彼女はlonleyでinsecureな人なんだ。でも変に権力を持ってるから謙遜もへりくだる事もしらない人なんだよね。shes a mess.　かわいそうな人だ。早く卒業して違う先生につきたいかも。は～また*itch festになちゃった。ごめんよ。sorry for being like this.(--;)but thats what i feel.i wont lie. this is how i am right now....maybe i need to へりくだる

• off the top

  finally, another week has passed. gosh, i really cant wait until summer break....and its only february. sigh~.well, i had a long week. monday-wednesday were pretty laid back, but i guess i was really tired. my body totally freaked out on thursday. i ended up having to take the day off and i slept all day. it was so nice. i took the liberty to just relax. i ended up watching movies. i saw shark's tale, which is so cute by the say, and i watched vanity fair. reese witherspoon is so good in it. i would recommend both. okay, i have a lo~~t of work to do this weekend. better get going. oh, but not before going to the korean market in aurora. dude, i so~ need asian food.

• pain in the....

  ya, i want to say butt, but the pains in my neck.　今週末はコンピューターとにらめっこ。ちょっとしたプロジェクトにはまっちゃってi couldnt pull myself away from the computer。 おかげで首が痛い痛い。でもよい物がalmostできあがってるのでちょっと満足。最近は忙しいせいか、ちゃんと心のケアをしてないせいか、もんくったれてる自分がいる。人をさいばいてしまう自分がいる。ちゃんと心のケアをしないとやばい。今週はそんなに忙しくいかも。。。でもmaybe im just fooling myself, or maybe im just burnt out that i dont care anymore. o, oh～～～。

• dont make me put my baby down!

  金曜日なのになんでこんなに忙しいんだぁ～～！！今週はなんか永遠と続いているな。月曜日なんて遠い遠い昔だったような気がする。今週は色々ありました。え～、火曜日まで書いたんだっけ？水曜日は。。。あんま覚えてないけど、what i do remember that is that my 先輩 gave her first doctoral recital. もうかなぁ～り感動しました。美しさのあまり途中で涙が出ちゃいました。彼女のリサイタルには色々な思いがこもっていてそれが全部彼女の音楽からあふれ出てる感じでした。本当に言葉にできないほど美しい音楽を楽しみました。音楽を聴いてこんなに感動したのは久しぶりです。すごい、としかいいようがありません。リサイタルの後、先輩たちと打ち上げ会に行ってしまいました。すごく楽しかったけどちょっと飲みすぎてしまいました。お付き合いは大変です。週の真ん中にアルコールは飲むものじゃないね。つかれきっていたせいもあって次の日起きれませんでした。クラスはミスるしリハーサルはすっぽかすし。。。最悪です。でもおかげでちょっと息抜きができました。最近感じる疲れは半端じゃないので、このごろよく寝れます。よかった！今週の後半は本当に心打たれることが多かったです。考えさせられる事も多かったです。そのことについてはまたの機会に。これから４時間ピアノ弾きっぱなしです。じゅ行ってきます。*******************************************ただいま６：４６ｐｍやっとおわったぁ～～～～！はぁ～～～～肩が痛いよ～腕が重いよ～。なぜにこんなに忙しいの！？わけ分からない～～～。これからveggしたいとこだけどこれからlight house があるのだ。めちゃくちゃ行きたいけどしんどぉ～い。は～～。もう行かないとバスミスっちゃう。またあとで。

• saving grace

  oh my gosh it was such a long day. okay, so the hours i played today...10. 10 hours again...craziness. gosh, is this normal? am i supposed to be okay with this? is this what i should expect from now on!?? you know, but it was amazing because everything worked out okay. this morning i thought i was going to have a nervous breakdown. but as my teacher said today "Someone must be looking out for me." • count your blessings

  今日ピアノを弾いていた時間、合計１０時間。what is up with that. 普通に考えて、ありえないよね。。。okay, okay if you subtract all the moving around time i had, like 9 hours. but still. why do these things come in waves. why cant it be organized so i would only have to do like 3-4 hours playing in a day. why, WHY!!?明日は先生とコーチング、いやだな。それも２時間も。oh, and another two lessons for other people. AND i have to play my opera...which i cant. AND i have to play the most difficult arias from don giovanni...which, again, i cant. what the heck am i supposed to do. は～。いやいや、いかんいかん。また*itch fest になってる。there are so many people in this world that have so little, have to endure the horrors of war, でご飯も食べられない人たちもいるのに、私は食べるもの、着るもの、住むところも全て与えられてる上に音楽を勉強してピアノで美しい音楽を毎日弾けることを感謝しなきゃ。すぐ弱気になる自分がいやだよ。

  長い一日だった～。疲れたよぉ～。ya, you know im in over my head when i start hosting a *itch fest. this week is so busy. im playing for lessons, getting lessons, or going to class allllllll day. its crazy. im so busy i dont have time to practice. whats that all about. o～～～ my gosh, i need to sleep.

  queen of the night

  hey all. yesterday was friday...what did i do? hm, well, i had rehearsals all day. and in the evening i had a conference with my teacher. it went well, she wanted to talk or whatever. today i spent all morning cleaning, doing laundry, and cooking. i should have gone to practice, but all the cooking took most of my time so i wasnt able to go to school. It was my friend's birthday today so i made a cake for her. the sponge was a little dry and the cream was a little grainy and bit too sweet, but it came out well. it was chocolate and bannana. i would like to take this opportunity to show it off, im so proud of it! here it is... after having dinner with my friend, we went out to a bar called bacaro. it was a little slow at first, but it picked up after the dj got going with the music. i think kaori downed too many drink in too short a time. but you know, she'll forever remember this birthday as the one she puked her brains out. ew~~ huh. but i hope at least she had fun before all the puking and stuff. i got to meet a lot of japanese people today. there were a lot of interesting people. i had a lot of fun. i went to practice afterwards, but since i was on my feet all day my concentration and strength didnt last too long. well, tomorrow i have to get up and be efficient in order to finish all the things i need to do.

• gotta get'ta crankin'

  gosh, i just found out that my oboe player needs to do a preview in a week. our trio is a mess and i havent even looked at the second and third movements of bach... and my flutist needs to do a preview next week too, crap... and i havent played the martinu in months... crap crap crap...どうしよう。なんか最近時間が過ぎるのが早い。i feel like there are two days in the course of one. gosh, i dont even remember what i did this morning. oh, i went to vocal coaching class then had lunch with my korean singer.　でもあんま美味しくなかったな。う～ん、ＬＡに比べちゃだめだよね。でも、ま、おなかいっぱいになったからいいか。でリハーサルがあったな。あ、そういえば車の保険を買いに行ったな。で夕方はまたリハーサル。長かったような、短かったような一日だったな。

• running through my mind

  I laid awake for 2 hours in my bed trying to fall asleep last night. しんどかったぁ～。（――；）my brain refused to shut off. I couldn’t stop thinking about everything and anything. i ended up having to go running to burn off some energy at like 4 in the morning. You know what, I even dreamt about not being able to sleep. Gosh. Do I have a problem or what. I hate Tuesdays and Thursdays. 9 is way to early for me. It would be okay if I could just jump out of bed and go, but I have to shower then take the bus so id get to school at least 20 minutes before class starts. Gosh, I’d never make it as a regular member of the work force. so today was a regular day. nothing exciting. we took a quiz in theory...dont know how i did. opera class was interesting. the teacher is really great, but wow, theres so much work to do as a opera rehearsal pianist. i had to sing a recit today from Figaro. i hate how things dont come out the way i practice in the practice room. o well, the countess's part is way to high for me anyway. i think im going to have to move my recital date back. my violist isnt ready with the shostakovich sonata and my singer can't be there to sing my argento pieces. sigh. looks like its going to happen while the opera is going on. yuck. oh, the weirdest thing happened. my korean singer called me up today and offered to take me to lunch tomorrow...i guess thats not weird part...but it was the conversation part that was weird. i think it lasted like 20 second. it was so random and out of the blue. she was like "i want to take you out to eat korean food" and i was like "um, okay" then she was all "then ill pick you up at 12 tomorrow" then she hung up. well, i guess its okay considering that i get to eat good korean food tomorrow. yay!

• so, then... what is it?

  did you know diet pepsi has no calories, it has no sugar, no fat, no carbs. ...but it still tastes like soda though. why!? って聞きたいよね。anyways、今日は何もしなかった。今日は授業がなかったので家でだらだらしてしまった。実は私の友達が結婚するんだ。今日は彼女と結婚式とかリセプションの話をした。チャットだったけどかなり盛り上がってしまった。ドレスの色とかデザインとか花とか色々決めたんだ。楽しかったな。あ～結婚式が楽しみ！ふぅ～やらなきゃいけないことはたくさんあるんだけどなんか。。。ちゃんとやれてない。早く春休みにならないかな。

• sleep day

  前にも書いたけど最近sleep scheduleがとても変。なんか夜になると寝たくなくなるんだよね。でも普通に眠いんだよね。いつも夜(１２時とか)まで練習して家に帰るじゃん、で色々(勉強とか、宿題とか。。。チャットとかｆ(‐‐；)やってるうちに４時とか５時。ゆっくり寝たいけど次の朝授業とかがあったりするし忙しすぎて昼寝もできないんからめちゃくちゃ寝不足。しんどいよぉ～。じゃ～寝ろよ,ちゃんと！って突っ込みたいでしょ？でも寝れないんだって。じつは寝るより何かしていたいって感じもちょっとはあるしね。でも、ベッドに入ってもなかなか寝れないんだよ、ill be just lying in bed for like 1, 2 hours with out being able to sleep. これも辛いのだ。昨日は色々しているうちに朝の６時。。。で、さすがに寝不足だったせいもあってすぐ寝れた。でも６時間後目が覚めてしまったけど今日は何もなかったから無理やり夢の世界にもどった。ため寝？Talking about sleep…最近私が尊敬している先輩がうつ病だって事を知った。その人は本当にピアノがうまいし頭は良いし綺麗だし、I used to envy her a lot. でも人は見かけによらずだね。彼女はカウンセリングも受けてるし安定剤みたいな薬も飲んでるみたいだ。うつ病の人ってinsomniaな人が多いんだってね。彼女は寝れないからまたそのためにも薬を飲んでるんだって。で彼女がなんでうつだと言うと、先生とうまくいってないことが大きな原因なんだって。(じつはちょっと分かるんだよね)。でも、彼女は本当にunhappyな毎日を過ごしてるみたい。これも彼女から聞いたんだけど、ミュージックスクールの中でうつ病で苦しんでる人はいっぱいいるんだって。私が知ってる人のなかでそんな人がいたとはびっくりだよ。みんな薬まで取って影で苦しまないでよ。音楽をやってる人have tortured souls. We’re in constant battle between our love for music and the harsh and painful realities that come with the territory of being a musician. この六ヶ月間私も色々と苦しんだから先輩の気持ちはちょっと分かるんだよね。でも今は偉大な心の支えがあるからim okay, butそれがない人って。。。心が痛むよ、もう。Music is a blessing and for some, a curse.

• ...more like a crease in time

  the clocks in my apartment are all different. you know how sometimes you forward you clock like 10 minutes so you're not late for stuff, well, i kept on doing that and now im not sure what time it really is. not one of the clolcks in my apartment display the same time. they're different from the ones at school, in my car, im not even sure if my computer clock is right. so in short, i really dont know what time it really is. バスをちゃんと時間に乗らなきゃいけないときとか困るんだよね。今日は朝からリハーサルが３本立て。でそのあとにトリオの女の子とお昼を食べにＵＭＣまで行った。で、午後にスタジオクラス。夜はライトハウスと言う家庭集会に行ってきた。みんな私より年上なんだけど色々参考になるし勉強になるから楽しい。でもやっぱバイスタはいいね。その集会に文華さんっておばちゃんがいるんだ。私のお母さんより。。。う～んそうだな、５、６年下かな？でも、そのおばちゃんは結構私に似て彼女と話してると自分が色々疑問に思ってることとか不安に思ってることにshed some lightしてくれるんだよね。結婚とか恋愛のこととかも色々freely話してくれるおばちゃんだからから彼女の話とかはとても興味深い。帰るときに大月さん(バイスタを主催してくれてる人）達に夕飯の残りとかも貰っちゃったし、今日は良い一日でした。へへ。最近また編み物にはまってしまった。今は大月さん達の娘達にマフラーを編んでます。下の子にはピンクのふわふわマフラー、お姉ちゃんのほうにはちょっとお澄まし系のモジャモジャマフラー. i hope they like it.

• i dont need sleep

  ...ya, i thought. but turns out, we humans dont work that way. へ. 最近sleep scheduleが変だ。昨日の夜なんか徹夜してしまった。本当はもっと色々書きたいけど, i think its my lack of sleep, i feel like im not really here. また明日書きます。あ、横のところの「funny pictures」ってとこに新しい写真をアップしました。今日友達にいっぱいもらったんだ。暇な人はどうぞ。

• almost like home

  今日は妙に暖かかった、almost like LA だよ。７０度ぐらいだったかな（Ｆ、ね）。こっちきてこんな暖かいの始めてかも、でもボルダーは天気が変だからたぶん来週あたりまた雪が降るんだろうな。今日も充実した一日を過ごした。。。well, at least the first part of it。夕飯を食べた後学校に戻って練習・勉強をするはずだったんだけど、友達とのチャットに夢中になってしまって結局学校に戻らなかった。（－－；）どうしよう。明日の授業の予習してない。その上に友達にＨＩ５とfriendsterと言う遊び場に紹介されて。。。非常にはまってしまった。どうしよう。はぁ～。this is just what i need, ANOTHER way to distract myself from doing the thing i have to do.... great

• blurry

  今日はなんか変な日だった。i feel like today didnt happen at all. 火木は一週間で唯一早起きしなきゃいけない日なんだ。８時半には学校についてなきゃいけない。。。それにしてもcounterpoint and 4 part writingってめんどくさい。（－－；）その後練習を１２時までしてそのまま三時まで授業。で５時まで練習。そこまでは普通の一日だった。でもご飯を食べたあとお昼寝をしてしまった。。。で起きたらもう１２時（－－；）起きたときi was so confused。今日は何日、って感じだった。は～それにしても今学期は忙しくなりそうだ。opera coaching for pianistsってクラスを取ってて、一週間に一回しかmeetしないんだけどi have so much to prepare for that class. i need to learn 2 operas and learn recits and crap like that. でこのクラスも音楽をanalyzeしなきゃいけないんだよね。its the thing im worst at。はぁ～、いやだぁ～～！！i have so much other crap that i have to do too...so much music to learn... がんばらなきゃ。それより、寝たばっかだからもう眠くないんだよね。どうしよう。

• purpose for living

  最近このトピックに関してよく考える。今日はアメリカではmartin luther king day　といった祝日の日だった。今日は友達とお昼を食べた後学校で一日（？）練習してた。そのあと映画を借りてみた。今日はvagina monolougesと言うＤＶＤを見た。そうだな、二年前かなり話題になったoff broadway playだ。it was interesting to say the least. 今日は時間があったので二本立て。二個目の映画は一年前に出た"Beyond Borders"といったちょっとマイナーなフイルム。でもAngelina Jolie とClive Owenが主演しているとてもパワフルな映画だった。its a love story set up against humanitarism and relief efforts. its a little difficult to watch, but i definitely recommend this to everybody!本当にみんなに見てほしい。最近はClive Owenがお気に入り。彼が出演しているＫｉｎｇ　Ａｒｔｈｕｒもお勧めです。なんかあ～言う泥まみれになって一生懸命生きてる人ってやっぱ魅力的(i mean the roles that the actors play, of course)、none of this pretty boy crap。no leonardo dicaprio, no justin timberlake. yes to the rock and clive owen...そうなんです、ごつい＋こゆい＋男らしい人が好きなんです　ｆ（＾ー＾；）anyways, ちょっとfiction な世界でよい時間をすごした私でした。

• in his time

  今日は久しぶりに勉強が楽しいと思った。でもやっぱ練習はかったるい。昨日の夜雪が降ったらしい。。。って言うか降った。今日起きたらパティオが真っ白ぢゃないか。寒い寒い。今日は学校から帰ろうと思ってバス停に歩いていったのにボケ～としてたため帰りのバスを見送ってしまった。（i hate when i do that) ２０９のバスは一時間に２かいしかこないので３０分外で待つはめになってしまった。寒かったよぉ～。（校舎の中で待ってれば良かった(--;)。。。i was a little slow today) 結局家に着いたのが３時ぐらい。今日もやっぱりお昼ねをしました。子供みたい。で起きてご飯作って色々やってるうちに9時半。i finally forced myself to go practice around 10. でさっき帰ってきました。。。１２時とか？　なんとなく充実した一日だったかもしんない。＊my ramblings＊-you know, it says in the bible "do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have its own troubles"...ive always loved that verse, but what does it mean, really. hm...-i love pictures that can make you smile. 一瞬だけど、they take you back, you know. そのとき感じるささいな幸せっていいよね。あ、最近のフェーバリットソングをご紹介します。oliver james "long time coming" . its such a cool song. check it out if you can!

  お久しぶり。最近調子がいいです。先生がout of townだからかもしれません。(苦笑）先週の。。。土曜日（？）からアップしてないね。じゃちょっとリワインドしてみよう！先週の金曜日はボルダーで行なわれてる家庭集会に行ってきました。やっぱいいです。ＥＣでの経験をシェアしたり一緒に聖書を読んだりしました。みんな私よりかなり年上（おじさん＆おばさんばっか）なんだけど色々話せてよかったな。で、そこの家には子供達がいてちょっと、って言うか、かなり一生懸命遊んでしまいました。楽しかった！それにしても子供はいいな。心がなごむ。日曜日はまだ体調が１００パーセントじゃなかったのでちょっと家でゆっくりしてました。一日家で本を読んだり、オンラインでチャーチの説教を聴いたり、映画を見たりしてました。月曜日は学校の初日でした。月曜日は授業がないのでこれといってやる事はなかったな。でも学校へは行った。ちょっと練習をして先生と短いミーティングをして家に帰って寝ました。え～と、今日は～。。。朝から授業があったな。結構びっしり授業が入ってるんだよね。火木が一番は忙しいんだ。でもそのぶん月水金は授業がないのだ。（こんなの初めて！）でもたぶんレッスンとか練習とかで急がしんだろうな。anyways,帰ってきて買い物に行こうかなって思ったんだけどお昼寝をしてしまいました。で、起きたらもう友達の誕生日パーティーに行く時間になっているじゃないか。急いで用意してitalian restaurant and bar, ＢａｃｃａｒｏへＧｏ！ワイワイやってるうちにもう１１時。お店が閉まる時間になっても誰も帰る気配がなく、結局二次会を開く事になって次はＣａｔａｃｏｍｂｓって言うhang out placeへゴー！いや～火曜日の夜だというのにみんな結構遊んでたね～。楽しかったけど。新しいお友達も作ったし。今日は楽しい一日でした。さ～明日は朝から練習だ！気を引き締めて行こう！

• before the storm

  今日は朝から友達と買い物に行ってきました。オーロラにある韓国マーケットにいきました。これからの食生活が楽しみ～。チャジャンミョンとかキムチとか。。。ヤァム！でそのあと近くにあるkorean bbq に行ってきたよ！石焼ビビンバ食べちゃった。でも病気だったから胃が小さくなってたみたいであんまり食べれなかったな。でも正直、この状態がもう少し続いてくれる事を願うよ。アハハハ。で、さっき帰ってきたんだけど、これから大月さん達の家庭集会に行ってくるんだ。今日はハルカとかデック先生くるのかな～。さ～行く用意しなきゃ。じゃまた後でアップします。それにしても、なんて平和な一日なんだ。こう言う日々がこれからも続いてほしいな。

• six month hibernation

  熊はいいね。六ヶ月も寝れるんだもんね。は～～。anyways。今日はずっと家にいました。ゆっくり休んでいました。its getting better,でも夜になるとやっぱりちょっとだるくなって熱っぽくなります。今日は友達が日本から帰ってきて、park and rideまで迎えに行きました。彼女の新しいアパートのために色々買出しに行きました。結構楽しかったです。そのあとデニーズにいってlate dinnerを食べて、今に至ります。最近は人が、友達や家族が恋しいです。これからは私がここにおかれた事を感謝しながらがんばっていこうと思います。なんにでも感謝です。私より恵まれていない人はいっぱいいます。i should feel lucky just to have food to put in my mouth everyday.

• my frozen nose hairs

  いや～コロラドは雪っす。寒いっす。カリフォルニアー！i miss you～！昨日飛行機に乗れたのが結局６時。本当は２時５５分だったのに。でもそれまでインターネットやってたからいいんだけどね。コロラドに着いたのは９時、らっゲージを集め終ったのが９時半。さー帰ろうと思ったら次のバスが１０時半まで来ないじゃないか。。。ゴーン（－－；）最悪。で、しかたなく１時間も空港で待った私です。５分前に外に出てバス待ちしてたんだけど、寒い。寒すぎる。わっけわかんない。無事バスに乗ったのはいいんだけど前に座ってたねーちゃんがそれがまた声がでかくておしゃべり。ボルダーに帰るまで１時間かかるんだけど、she jabbed alllllll the way home　with the driver. 寝れもしない。gosh, it was painful.　でも車まで着いて何とかして家に帰ることができました。感謝っス。昨日はぐっすり寝て今日はゆっくり起きました。でもまだ体だるい。まだふらふらします。やばいな。今日は本当はテストを受けにいかなあかんかったのに。どうしよう。

• the power within

  あけおめ・ことよろ！お久しぶりです。クリスマスいらいだね。何かいろいろ忙しくて。１２月の２７日から一月一日までEquipper Conference と言うクリスチャンのカンファレンスに行ってきました。いやぁ～楽しかったよ、めちゃくちゃ疲れたけど。私は今回ワーシップリーダーとして奉仕させてもらったんだけどハラハラドキドキしながらも恵みをいっぱい頂きました。新しい賛美いっぱい学んできたし、素敵な出会いもいっぱいありました。praise team、実行委員＆ small groupを当して本当に色々な癒しを受け励ましも貰い、まるで天国にいるようでした。賛美チームのリーダー達はみんないいやつばっかりであんなにすぐれたmusicianたちと賛美ができるなんて幸せでした。i wish all of you were there。でも５日間の疲れが出たのか、帰った次の日にstomach fluにかかっちゃいました。３日間寝込んでいました（今もちょっとふらふら）。だから学校の予習もテスト勉強もできずにコロラドに帰る事になっちゃいました。ちなみに今LAXにいます。２：５５発の飛行機がDelayになっています。。。二時間も。。。ゴーン（－－；）それにしても気が重い。コロラドに帰りたくないっス。its true that people dont want to leave their comfort zone. 今は学校も辛いからただたんにunpleasantなところにいるだけです。せめて学校が楽しければね。ま、始めたものは終わりまでやり遂げます。そうです日本人根性です（私はアメリカ人だけど）。anyways, がんばります。時々弱気になる私ですが、がんばります。ECでもらった恵みをしっかり胸に焼き付けてコンセメがんばります！オ～！

• hot springs smell like rotten eggs

  you know, i havent been able to do even half the things i said i was going to do by this point in time. well, im off the ec tomorrow...i feel under prepared. but all i can do now is to play things out by ear. today was christmas, we opened our presents and went out for a family outing to lake elsinore. we spent time in the hot tubs and singing. lots of fun. but now i gotta get back to work. あしたは教会でカルテットだ。それの練習もしなきゃ。あいや～！

  california に帰ってきました。もう5日ぐらいたつかな。友達と遊んだりのんびりしたり、結構いいです。やっぱ実家はいいな。落ち着きます。今のうちに充電しとかなきゃ。ライセメも忙しくなりそうだ。

  its so bad to have a final the day you're leaving. man, i havent slept because ive been studying for finals and packing and cleaning my apt before i leave for cali. this sucks. i just want to go to sleep. and form the way ive been approaching my last final, it just seems like i dont care anymore. last finals are usually like that. these things need to be scheduled more efficiently. ill be leaving right after my final. my airplane leaves at 4:40. ill be in LA by tonight. thank goodness. gosh, i hope i dont fall asleep during my final.

• the things we desperately cling to

  im so ready to party when i get back to CAi finished the last of my piano stuff today. no more...but i have a butt load of music to learn during the vacation...yay...(--;) i helped my friend move today, and had a fun conversation with the guy that lives in her new place. i made a cosmo today. it was yummy. i really shouldnt be when i have to stay up all night. agh, cant wait to get home.

  i finally got my car washed today. gosh, it was crazy dirty. but now its clean. yay. so im almost finished with everything. i turned in all my projects on friday. i only have two more juries to play for and a final on wednesday then im off to california. i cant wait to go home. im so ready to get away from here. 4 more days. yay!

  damn its windy today. the wind has been blowing like mad since last night. a little scary. okay, so im really bad. i cant keep deadlines. at least before i used to be able to finsh despite my procrastination...which, by the way, hasnt changed. Now i start stuff late, and i cant finish it. so it takes me just as much time to finish something i would have done punctually. man, this sucks. everything sucks. i hate school, i should have never went to grad school. what WAS i thinking?

• why does everything happen to me～

  its just me whining. sorry. ive been meaning to update for the longest time, especially because i wanted to write about NY, but i havent really recovered from my thanksgiving break. its been difficult trying to get back into school mode... でもそんなことを言ってるうちにlast week of school が来てしまったよ。ya, it sounds happy right? but its not. i have a crap load of stuff thats due ON THE SAME DAY. why~~??? all my projects are due today and plus i have my stupid jury today. それも朝の８時半に。ありえない。you really expect me to play Brahms at 8:30 in the morning? sigh...its going to be really bad. i have a whole crap load of other things i need to play in class...but i havent practiced that either. what up with that!? its not like i was too lazy to. ive been so freakin busy...昨日なんか i went through a 8 hour day without a break. thats messed up yo. anyways, いま朝の４時。学校にいます。ive been working by butt off to finish this ridiculous assignment...but i guess it serves me right for putting it off for so long. im not going to sleep for another 20 hours or so...i hope i can make it. なんか周りがフラフラゆれてるような気がする。...damn, that cant be good

  さぁ～いよいよです。これからニューヨークに行ってきます。holiday rushガちょっと心配だけどたぶん大丈夫でしょう。それにしてもim going to be spending most of Thanksgiving on a plane (figuring that ill be losing three hours)まーこういうthanksgivingもありかなと。。。ｎｙは今雨が降ってるらしい。ｎｙにいる間天気が晴れますように。それにしてもmorning flightsって嫌い。落ち着いて寝れないじゃん。ほんじゃ～行ってきま～す。

  は～頭痛い。リサイタルが全部終ったから気が緩んだのか。。。それとも最近気温がガッと下がったせいなのか。昨日と今日学校を休んで家でゆっくり休んでいます。それにしてもしんどい。昨日お母さんから電話があって二日ほど前に階段で躓いて足をくじいたらしい。。。これからニューヨークに行くと言うのに。まったく。は～things are just not right. why do things always happen when we have good times planned? 前にもこんなことがあったような気が。

• that dot on my forehead...

  やったぁ～！！！終った終った～！！！今日最後のリサイタルを弾き終えました。今日は朝からおでかけ。コロラドをちょっと探検してみました。でも運転しっぱなしだったのでちょっと疲れました。実は昨日の夜から雪がふり続けています。でも今回の雪は変な雪でした。ミニ・コンペイトウみたいなのが降っていました。これって雹？でも３inchesぐらい積もったよ。anywaysリサイタルのあとboulder 36と言うフェローシップにいきました。ご飯を食べて賛美してｄiscussionをしたりしました。そこでは子供とか動物がいっぱいいたので楽しかったです。は～、今度はクラスのプロジェクトを終らせれば。あと４日でNYへ行ける！yay!

  今日はクラリネットのコンペ。そのため朝から練習。でもクラリネットの子は何回か間違ってしまったから優勝はしなかった。そんなもんだろう。今日は一日中出歩いていたな。疲れた。夜は友達がオーケストラとモーザルトのコンチェルトを吹いた。やっぱオーケストラとソロなんてかっこいいな。コンサートのあとステージでhang outしたりもした。オーケストラで弾いた事ないからちょっと楽しかった。

  hey all. i just got back from the med. its a chic restaurant in boudler. my vocalist insisted on going out to celebrate after the concert tonight. the concert was fine. thank God its over. but gosh, im so tired. its been a long day and i havent really slept in a couple of days. the semester is almost finished. i have a competition to do on friday and a recital on saturday. a couple of projects due on monday, then im home free. o~~~ my gosh, i can not wait until next thursday.

• reflections...what do you see?

  人って変るものだね。for the better.... or can we ever change for the worse? 自分は変りたくなくても環境がそうさせたりする事もあるよね。昔の自分を恋しく思うことってあるんだね。私はいままでそんな事は絶対なかった。でも最近、あのころは良かったなとか思うことが良くある。変ってしまったもはしょうがないんじゃないかと思う。でも最近は、今の自分がいるから将来もっと素敵な自分になれるんだってちょっと思えるようになってきた。lately ive been understanding the concept of embracing myself as i am right now. whoa, thats pretty deep... gee, i must be growing up.

• as time goes by

  お久しぶり。ご無沙汰してます。最近思い事、考え事が多いです。でもコンピューターの前に座って長々と書く気力もなく、アップがこんなに遅れてしまいました。腕はすっかり良くなりました。でも気を付けないと時々痛みがもどってきます。最近はかなりlow stressです。でもやる事はいっぱい。金曜日はマスタークラスがありました。今日はリサイタル。また水曜日と土曜日にリサイタル。でも来週はもうニューヨーク！アンベリーバボー！楽しみ。最近the companyと言う映画を見ました。it was a beautiful film. i reccomend it to anyone. under the tuscan sun is also a wonderful film. the cinematography (?) is just gorgeous. 最近音楽に関して、将来に関してよく考えます。ハッピーになったりーブルーになったり、気分七色です。またそのうちアップします。（やっぱ日本語で文を書くのは疲れる。。。どうしよう日本語力↓してる。。。やばい）

  お風呂につかりすぎてのぼせてしまいました。im supposed to soak my shoulder and arms in hot water to release the muscles. but it turns out be too much soaking. ｍan, 練習といいお風呂といい、i really need to learn how to do things in moderation...
