What a wild weekend it was. I was working on a Saturday for the first time since I started working at this company. While at a house in the country doing an installation, I get a call from Nadu.
She says 'Did you see Woogie (our pet frog) this morning'?
Well, I don't usually look in the morning, so I said no. So she tells me that she is not in her tank. Woogie has escaped!
This isn't like a dog running away...a frog needs to keep moist, and if it is out of the tank for even a few hours, it will die from dehydration.

A little while later Nadu calls me back and says she found Woogie under a pillow by the bed! She was all shrivelled up and black, barely clinging to life. Nadu put her back in the tank, gave her some water, and nursed her back to health. Nadu - Frog Veterinarian!

So, Woogie is back in good health after her near-death experience, thanks to Nadu. Hopefully she won't try to escape ever again - not like she can...Nadu put tape all around the top of the tank to prevent that!

On a better note, I took Nadu out for a nice supper on Sunday night. It was our '1 year anniversary since I proposed to her'. I don't think she was even expecting me to remember it, much less take her out for supper. We went to the Sawmill for some grade-A steaks. Yummy!
