I don't want to talk about the game last night, so for once I won't be making a post about hockey :P

About 3 months ago the sales guy left the company go to back to school, so we were left without anyone to sell our wonderful Internet to people. It was decided that since I already know everything there is to know about our product (price, technical specs) that I might as well take over sales as well as keep doing technical support and system administration here and there. And the bonus: I'd get a sweet commission.

It may only be $20 per new client, but boy, does that sure make a difference on payday. I've been averaging an extra $400-550 per month extra on sales, which has gone a long way to help pay the bills :)

Tonight I'm sitting at my desk, listening to Audioslave with the volume cranked way up (I'm the only one left here this late). When the phone rings, I turn the volume down and answer. I just thought of what a sweet situation this is as I made $60 in the last 20 minutes as three new people called in, whom I sold service too. That's not bad for a night of listening to music :D
