What a great playoffs this has turned out to be so far...and it's only 2 games in!
Edmonton lost the first game in double over time. Nadu and I were at the pub watching the game with some of our friends. One of them happened to be my buddy from work who's bachelor party was due to begin at 7:00. The game would be over around 7:30, so no big deal, we'd be a little late. But then overtime happened, then double overtime...turns out we got there around 10:00. Whoops :P On Sunday was game 2. It started at 11:00AM here! I don't understand why Americans love their early afternoon games so much, but I won't rant about that right now. The Oilers won that game 4-2, tying up the series :) Before that game, during the National Anthems, the custom in Detroit is to throw an octopus on the ice. Why do they do it? Who knows. Anyway, there was an octopus on the ice, but also, some Oilers fans threw steaks on the ice. Alberta beef. That was pretty funny. I can imagine the beginning of game 3 tonight in Edmonton. How much beef is going to end up on the ice? Go Oil!!! The Beef Guy お気に入りの記事を「いいね!」で応援しよう
