Yes, this is the understatment of the year...but really, in what way does Mac anything not trump Microsoft anything?
For our wedding reception in Okinawa, among ten thousand other things, we need a slideshow showcasing pictures from our childhoods as well as since we have been together. When Nadu first told me this, my first reaction was 'Oh God, no. Another shitty Powerpoint presentation to create". I've probably made about 20 different ones for school, and never has it been fun to create or fun to watch. Ah, but thankfully, this is the era of Mac OS X and my company issued MacBook Pro. I find that my MacBook comes with Keynote, which is similar to Powerpoint except that it generally does not suck. Cool! So I've been playing with it all night, and have created some cool slides. Pictures are appearing, disappearing, and moving in a manner that I want. It's fun stuff :) On a related note, a few weeks or months ago (can't remember), we created a shortened video of our wedding using Apple's iDVD. My God, I almost had an attack of pure joy. We took the video from our wedding ceremony and cut out some of the less exciting parts to create a 15 minute video. Then we created this nifty menu that rotates select pictures, along with a small screen on the bottom left that shows short clips of all 5 pairs walking down the aisle. It's like picture-in-picture on a tv. It looks absolutely awesome. お気に入りの記事を「いいね!」で応援しよう
