I this album.!!
A☆Teens are gr8 for when you really need to pep yourself up for something and you need a sudden burst of energy.
The songs are ABBA classics, but sped up a notch.
I was astounded, and also impressed at how close the music was to the original.
It was quite amusing that the others around me (granted, who were mostly teenagers ) didn't seem to recognize the song.
I, on the other hand, was delighted.
I have always ABBA, and despite the fact that I mostly hate remakes I was immediately intrigued.

Glancing at the program, I discovered that this particular group was called the A☆Teens.
Every song they sing, as far as I know, is a remake of an Abba song.
What they will do when they have run out of ABBA songs remains to be seen, but in the meantime I continue to be quite impressed by this group of teenagers.
When my lover requested an A☆Teens CD, I was quite willing to purchase it for hxx.
I actually considered this to be the best of both worlds; I already knew the lyrics to the Abba songs by heart and thus was quite aware that these lyrics were *safe* for my lover to listen to.. And Im always willing to spend money on good music, which I consider A☆Teens to provide...

This is a fun CD to listen to, especially for those of you who enjoyed ABBA when you were younger.
It is like a walk down memory lane with a twist..
These remakes are remarkably well-done; at times it is hard to even realize that it is not actually ABBA singing.

【A☆Teens】Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
..Brings back fond memories..
Remember, this is not ABBA.
No one could perfect that unique sound that they had.
But this was a good effort by the Stockholm, Sweden-based band ATeens consisting of Marie Serneholt, Sara Lumholdt, Dhani Lennevald, and Amit Paul.
This is kind of a timeless CD with catchy songs and outstanding music.
I don't believe that anybody else could do ABBA songs any better.

One word to describe this record A-Mazing.
Sure the ATeens aren't anything .
It's just ABBA, again, but what's wrong with that
This is a pure, unadulterated, pop-frenzy.
It's like the fountain of youth in CD form.
There's always time for angsty music.
Enjoy the ATeens while they're still a flash in the pan.

Upon listening to "The A★Teens " I instantly came to the realization that NO ONE could ever replace the original group.
Yes, it was gr8 hearing all of my old favorites...
Yes, I was thrilled that my lover was becoming a fan...
Yes, it was quality music with child-safe lyrics...
However, I was not impressed with this foursome at all.
I don't care for their style or what they have done with the "ABBA" classics.
I also don't feel that they have an abundance of talent.
They sound like kids...Their voices are "tinny", and the whole CD sounds like it's computer generated...

While us "old" fans may not thoroughly enjoy the sounds of "The A★Teens ", I'm pleased that my lover & I actually know the lyrics to the same songs.
If you are a die-hard ABBA fan, you will probably like this CD.
Remember, this isn't ABBA, but a group that certainly has perfected the ABBA sound as well as anyone could.
It is enjoyable to listen to.
