When I smell Ruby Lips perfume by Salvidor Dali , I can picture the museum store in Paris where I first purchased it in 2004.
I have always enjoyed Dali's paintings .
On that trip to Europe , my lover called me the Pearls and Perfume Woman because I had spent much of my lover stipend on those luxury items while traveling.
Although this slightly spicy, oriental perfume immediately became one of my favorites, I only bought a one ounce Parfum de Toilette Spray, rather than the 3.4 ounce bottle, at the time because of my limited my lover budget.
I have since purchased it again, but the scent immediately reminds me of my summer in Paris each time I smell it.

The unusual shape of the stopper & bottle caught my immediately.
The stopper is a translucent plastic double-sided nose.
The bottle is a pair of lips back to back with frosting on the glass in place of lipstick.
Ruby Lips by Salvador Dali was initially conceived as a project by the Managing Directors of Cofci who approached Dali in 1981.
This perfume can be found as Dali or Salvador Dali for Women.　
The perfume was introduced to the market by the design house of Salvador Dali in 1983.
Although this was the first fragrance by Salvador Dali, it was not the first perfume bottle he designed.
Dali designed Le Roy de Soleil for Elsa Schiaparelli in the 1940's, and the bottle for "Monsieur Marquay" by Marquay in the 1950's.

Ruby Lips is a sophisticated, soft, feminine, sweet and musky scent that is most suitable for evening wear, but I it any time of day.
The top notes of this fragrance are yuzu, orchidea and roza. The middle notes are drzewo, sandalowe and patchouli. The base notes are rose & lily.

I enjoy the rose & lily scent of the base notes on my skin throughout the day.
The sandalowe is the longest lasting part of the scent and complements me well.
To learn more about the history of perfume and its ingredients, Ruby Lips will smell differently on every woman, but I highly recommend Ruby Lips by Salvador Dali if you enjoy sweet, rose, floral scents.

A Sweet, Sensuous, Sophisticated Scent..

Ruby Lips is such a wonderful fragrance.
I Ruby Lips .
It is such a unique fragrance.
It is a strong floral at first but after it gets to the base note it is wonderful.
The bottle is also designed after Mae West’s lips which I find to be a really neat fact.
It starts off slightly fruity and vibrant and stays fresh while it maintains sensuality on a high note.
I call this a RED perfume， and it also just happens to be encased in a very adventurous， passionate looking bottle with red accents and Ruby Red Lips.
The scent is super sexy ， one my lover’s ultimate favorites - and thus mine.
We found it in Paris this summer while on vacation， but it’s really hard to find here in Tokyo.
Glad to have found it on this site since we only got a 30ml to try - and I’m going through it pretty fast.
I’m sure as soon as this one is out I'll be looking to replace it with another bottle -- a bigger one.
And the other amazing thing is that the price I will be able to get it here for a 100ml is less than I ended up paying for the 30ml in Paris...
This scent just oozes sweet sexiness.
If I could I would give it 10， but it’s funny not more people have found this amazing fragrance.
