Beauty and the Beast
Spade & Marceau Chemistry came out Pretty Good I have to say after this movie I David Spade. He's so funny, even from the days when he was on SNL he made me crack up so hard. His jokes are so classic and gr8 it's very, very, very funny. Girl moves into apartment complex, where guy also happens to live. Guy falls for girl. Girl loses dog. Guy hatches plan to keep dog in his apartment while he gets to know girl. The story begins with David's character, Dylan who works owns an Italian Resturant and needs to get a loan(that's just a minor part of the plot).. Well, going to his apartment he meets and falls in love with Lila, his neighbor.. He soon realizes that he needs to spend quality time with her in order for her to love him back.. So, he steals her dog and tries to "help" her find it.. Along the way they become very good friends and he helps her with her career in cello playing..... I won't give away the rest, that's for you to watch !! But I will tell you two more things - no matter how much you dislike David Spade you will want him to get the girl soooo bad when you see this. Also, Dylans performance as Neil Diamond is so great and funny , it will have you roaring with laughter. Ex-boyfriend (hers) appears on the scene with the desire to win back girl's heart. In between all that, there's a loan to score for an extension to a restaurant, an event to cater for, an engagement ring to mind for a best friend, a desire to be a celloist to fulfill and an awesome foursome of elderly ladies who just Strip Poker. In addition, Spade co-wrote the movie and although there are one or two gags in "Lost And Found " where you think, "OK, pretty average " the majority of the jokes are genuinely funny and displays his gr8 sense of humour. There is also a scene with fellow former SNL player Jon Lovitz in the role of a "dog whisperer ". Some bits to look out for: a scene in a pet store with a little boy rattling a bird's cage ("Polly want an earthquake? "), Dylan's various methods of hiding Lila's dog whenever she's around (hiding places include a clothes dryer ) and Dylan's brilliant rendition of Neil Diamond's ditty "Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show ". The boy will never win a Grammy but he can at least carry a tune. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys dog, food, naked, fart and poop humour (which susses out a great deal of people ), Spade/SNL fans and those who are simply looking for a good comedy to sit in front of the TV and snicker at. 【David Spade】Lost & Found【Martin Sheen】 Sophie Marceau in her first English-speaking movie...BRAVO I can't help it, I just really dig David Spade. When he played with the late Chris Farley, he shone with brilliance -- and attitude. He hasn't really lost that brilliance now, it's just that there is a slightly different hue to it. I didn't like him in "Senseless ", primarily because he was a total butt head. Even so, he played his part with total believability, and I have to give him credit for that. In Lost & Found , he plays a quick witted, sharp-tongued, and deeply lovestruck single in pursuit of Sophie Marceau -- a real dish of a cello player, if I do say so myself. The plot is, as with most comedies, clearly simplistic. This means that I can't say too much without spoiling the movie for anyone who cares to act on my review. Yes, I'm recommending you see it David demonstrates an innocent sincerity in his portrayal of the uninvited suitor. In so doing, you can't help but root for him to get the girl in the end. In trying to achieve his goal, he successfully holds his own against the other real star of the movie -- a yapping little ankle-biter who is adept at stealing scenes with irresistable canine guile !! It was really nice to see David Spade be really sweet toward a girl in the movie. He showed a sweet side of himself that people hardly ever see. And there are a lot of funny scenes, one involving the dog and a dryer, another involving Lila coming to Dylan's apartment to talk to him and Dylan answers the door, but Wally's right behind him and they are both in their underwear (don't ask), and then one involving David singing to a Neil Diamond song at a big party. And even though this ending is like "There's Something About Mary", the cast dancing to "Groove Is In The Heart " by Deee-Lite made me wish I were there dancing with them. I don't care if that ending is like the one in "There's Something About Mary "-after all, imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery. So this movie, IMO, is definetely one you would want to watch with friends. Spade making his first movie without compadre Chris Farley did a wonderful job going solo. I must say Farley will always be sorely missed but Spade is obviously going to be able to continue on with his career. His humor is in no way anything that compares to Farley. As a matter of fact I thought the large man was funny I liked the Single White Female touch along with the mooshy parts. I must say this is the perfect movie for anyone to see at any time if you're bored or you want a good movie for the night. This is not high-class writing or the most hilarious thing you've ever witnessed. But if you classify "Lost & Found " where it belongs -- perhaps in a league with films like "Bowfinger " or "Kingpin ," you'll find yourself grinning more than filled with chagrin. But I would be remiss if I didn't mention one criticism. It's A LOT like "There's Something About Mary." This is what happens when an inexpensive comedy makes over 100 million bucks. From the dog gags, to the zany things two men will do to get the perfect woman, to the sexually-driven old lady humor, this was a movie that was obviously trying to fill a niche. Therefore, the only bad thing about this movie is that it doesn't bring anything to the comedy. But the good thing about this movie is David & Sophie chemistry comes out pretty good. And if you've got an hour and a half to burn, then check out "Lost & Found ". お気に入りの記事を「いいね!」で応援しよう
