Three Thousand US Dead,
And no end in sight.
Big Man Texan
Always gunning for a fight.

"Send in the Marines,
Someone else's boys.
We got to test those
New weapons and toys.

For the common man,
I just plead sacrifice.
For my billionaire buddies,
I am always nice.

There's lots of money
To be gotten from the till.
Line your pockets well,
Others will pay the bill.

Sure war is hell. Without it,
The economy would be worse.
Would you rather have a recession,
And less money in your purse?

It can't be said any better
Than George Orwell did in '1984'.
To keep the right folks in power,
You need a never-ending war.

Some conflict in a faraway place
Where no one wants to be,
Sell it to the media
That we've got a New Enemy.

Don't pay too much attention
To Marines dying in the sand.
It's good for big business,
Capitalism's mighty hand.

Before we can ascend to
That Heaven before our birth,
The Good Book tells us
Calamities must befall Earth

So what if I help
To accelerate things along?
'Save the Environment' is for
Loonies who are wrong.

Destroying Earth is OK.
It's just a temporary place.
Full of illegal aliens and
People of the wrong race.

I got a simple philosophy.
The truth is plain to see.
Real nice is what Heaven's gonna be.
Gonna have folks there just like me.

My past deeds and my history
Won't be able to haunt me.
I won't have to worry
About wars and responsibility."
