Making the world safer for future generations
The safety of the nuclear power becomes an important factor, which could be necessary to keep up our present lifestyles or pollute the earth and destroy people. Firstly, "Disaster preparedness"A big earthquake hit Niigata pref. this year, killing old people, injuring more than 1,000 people and destroying thousands of houses.Besides, the quake caused a radioactive leak at an nuclear power plant.We as individuals rethink the possibility of disasters, and also I think Japan needs to review the anti-earthquake measures for nuclear facilities, because in case of a disaster.Secondly, "Nuclear disarmament"I am against using nuclear power for weapons.To be honest, I want North Korea to shut down all nuclear facilities. If they declare their nuclear programs and disable all facilities, they can receive heavy fuel oil in return.Japan is the only nation to be bombed with atomic weapons,has not fought for 60 years, which are our personality.We should continue to appeal of extinction of nuclear, not being isolated from Asia and relating to U.S.A.Lastly, we should find renewable energy source and cut back as much as we can on using energy.In conclusion, I want to know more about the safety of the power. That is OK if they are used for peaceful purposes because there seems to be no other choice.
