【Study for Speaking exam 2】


・What city have you been to recently？

I haven't been to any city recently.
But I went to Amol city, north of Iran last summer.



recently は現在完了時制(have or has + pp)を使う



去年、昨日など何時のことかはっきりしている場合は過去時制。


・What did you do there？

何時、何処、何をしたなどの過去の出来事の詳細について尋ねる時は過去時制 did を使用。



We stayed in an apartment near the Caspian sea for two days.
And we swam in the sea and rested at the beach.


・What's the best /worst thing about your town？

The worst thing about my town is heavy traffic and serious air pollution.

And the best thing about my town is much comfortable than other places for me.

・Compare your coutry with Iran three ways.

Japan is smaller than Iran.

Weather of Iran is drier than it is in Japan.

Iranian people're more relaxed than Japanese people.


・What's expensive present you've ever bought？

I've bought a necklace for my mother.
When I got my first salary.


・What's good movie you've seen this year？

I haven't seen any movie this year.
I hardly ever see the movies.


・What's bad vacation you've ever had?

We went to China about 10 years ago.

When we wanted to go back to Iran, we were late for check-in at the airport. And we couldn't get on the airplane. My son was ill, but we had to stay three more days in Beijing.


・What's cold place you've ever been to？

I've been in Beijing. I think Beijing is colder than Tehran and Tokyo.




・What are you going to do .....

1 tonight

I'm going to visit my parents-in low tonight.

2 tomorrow

I'm going to do my English homework tomorrow.

3 next weekend

l'm going to practice setar and santoor next weekend .



◆ be going to という未来時制には二つの用法がある。(もっとあるかもしれないけど二つをならったところ。)

plans (計画)と predictions(予見、予測、予知)



上記三つの例文はplanを述べている。


prediction= to say what you think or can see is going to happen in the future.



predictionsの例文


事の成り行き、経過を元(根拠)に未来のことを推量、推定して述べる用法。



I think it's going to rain.

窓の外の空の様子から雨が降りそうだ と述べる時。

You're going to be very happy.

相手の状況、様子、何かしらの事柄を元に あなた幸せになるよ、きっと っていう感じ。

I'm sure they're going to win.

試合の経過状況から判断して どちらかのチームが勝つだろう と述べる場合。


こういう場合にも

be going to が使われる。
