This day, say on July 28, 2018, I had to visit a customer's house in Shimo-Zakai Area, Nogata to directly give the customer some English translated documents there.
Then, on my way home, I saw this beutiful mountains: Mt.Fukuchi, Mt.Hiko and other mountains.
I love Mt. Fukuchi.
But in these 20 years, I did not have any chance to climb the mountain.
I used to climb Mt. Fukuchi so many times up to 20 years ago.
Before I left my first company, I came back from Osaka and Tokyo and stayed in Fukuoka for a week. During this vacation, I went up the mountain for three days in a row just to train myself.
One day before I joined the Coming-of-the-Age Event in Iizuka, I clearly remember climing this montain.
So it was Jan.14, 1987. At that time, I was staying in Iizuka.
I was absent from Bukkyo Univ for some negative reasons for one year. Then, I was supposed to come back to college in the spring of this year. The mountain was fully covered with deep snow, then I had to walk my way slowly to the summit.
Near the top, I was suddenly caught in snowy blizzard, which gave me lots of fear to tears.
It was because I found myself alone in that area and I found no one else there. When I reached the summit, the blizzard came to stop, and I had lunch quickly and had to go down. When I walked down to the foot of the mountain, the snowy weather let up and the sun started to show me the way.
This experience really inspired me to study my way through the college after coming back.
When I was a high school student, I sometimes climed the mountain. At that time, I ran up to the summit, and I never felt tired. I would like to get my physical strength back to the one in those days.

Mt.Fukuchi is a little bit higher than 900m, not so high comparing to other major mountains in Kyushu and Japan, but it is a very steep mountain.
That is why Mt. Fukuchi was one of the religious training mountain spots for mountain priests.
I love this mountain. I am going to climb the mountain this August.
