Today I went to Tagawa as usual where I teach English to a group of company
workers as their in-house weekly English training.
This company is a subsidiary of Japan Tobacco.
They need to learn English for their planned international trading.
After today's lesson, they gave me a surprise present- a well-decorated birthday cake for me.
I was so moved into tears. These days I have had a series of bad news:
parting with one of my deshis and so on.
So, I felt very pleased and thanked them many times for their warmhearted present.
*Btw, I had to advise the young student of mine to leave my school due to various reasons. Must be a way of life. I have spent a couple of years doing lots of things for this student, and so I have been feeling empty now・・・Hope this guy will be a great English communicator in the future.
