Biconomy is a blockchain protocol and provider of Web3 developer tools designed to improve the UX of dApps.

All these features ease the Web3 onboarding process, making it more familiar to Web2 users who aren’t used to the hassle of fees for website access or the need to purchase multiple cryptocurrencies to use a web application.

MetaBlox, a leader in the area of Web3 infrastructure, is paving the way for easy access to Web3 via its decentralized WiFi OpenRoaming roaming network. MetaBlox WiFi routers, which provide access to this global network, are also miners that produce mPoints. These rewards will become available to stake for MBLX tokens after the project’s token launch.

The network’s special routers function as nodes that work together to verify the Decentralized Identitiy (DID) web credentials on users’ devices, establishing secure WiFi connections for them in the process, and subsequently issuing mPoints. Authentication data is also sent to a foundational blockchain for final verification.

This keeps users’ personal data out of central databases throughout the WiFi login process, as the process ensures that their online identities are verified in a fully decentralized way.

Anyone can download a DID credential for free on the MetaBlox app to enjoy free WiFi at locations around the world. The app’s helpful map section also shows nearby hotspots:

Thanks to OpenRoaming technology, users devices’ connect automatically at every MetaBlox router. Moreover, all connections are protected by enterprise-level security–a higher security setup than what’s offered by most other public networks.

The mPoint mining process carried out by the network’s routers is what drives the deployment and further expansion of MetaBlox’s global WiFi network, with the token incentives encouraging people to set up their own access points. This is now easier than ever to do, as instead of deploying a MetaBlox miner, individuals can also setup their existing WiFi router/network to mine mPoints.
