オフィシャルLINEの中のタスクの１つの「プチ翻訳の部屋」で私が書いている 「サナンとヤン」という２匹の猫の出てくる童話です。 （数行ずつ童話が日本語で送られてくるので、それを翻訳してみるタスク。１日数行でいいので、英語を書こう！という意図あり。） 原文は日本語で配信しているのですが、英語で読んでみたい、という声をたくさんもらっているので、 英語の方を（Julia監修）シェアしています。 （ちなみに、書式は話のかたまりでまとめず、学習者用に１文ずつ分けて改行してみました。） そして、イラストは私の友人が描いてくれていて、「地味カワイイ！」と人気です。 その③はコチラ！ ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Sanan and Yan ～その４～ Next, they went to a fruit shop. It sold many rare and interesting fruits, like golf-ball-sized watermelons, square strawberries and so on.  They looked around for green apples, but there weren't any. When they asked the shop assistant, she said "They are not in season. "How about this instead?" and handed a yellow apple to them.  It's yellow right now, but it'll turn green after 2 weeks. After another two weeks, it'll turn red. These apples taste like yellow apples when they're yellow, green ones when they're green, and red ones when they're red.  They decided to get 3 of those apples. They were relieved that they were able to get nice presents. They went home, saying, "Hopefully Aunty Hanan likes them."  When they got home, Sanan got busy with the packing and Yan looked up how to get to the airport. "By this time tomorrow, we'd be in bed at Aunty Hanan's place." The next morning, when their alarm went off, they got up, washed their faces and got ready for the day. The Turtle Taxi was 20 minutes late. They loaded their luggage into the taxi and set off.
