Gion festival has started since July 1st and is one of the most famous festivals in Japan. Especially, going around the Kyoto city of Yama-boko is world-wide famous. Many Yama-bokos are selected as cultural heritages.
Why don't you come to Kyoto and enjoy the atmosphere of traditional Japanese festivals.I will update the pictures later.
