I went to see my Canadian friends at shool today.. They are CCC members and I met them last week at a Korean party. Their parents are immigrants from Korea and they grew up in Cannada. Their culture was very interesting. Most of them speak English in public such as schools but speak Korean at home. When they speak each other, they sometimes mix up Korean and English. I felt that they are real bilinguals. I could relax when talked to them in English. I don't know why but I don't get nervous when talk to Asian people. Maybe, I feel like they are my brothers and sisters. It was very encouraging to hear them speaking English just like Canadians. I'll speak English like them someday(but not with Canadian accent because I love American English!)
After that, I went to see one of my professors. We were supposed to talk about my thesis but I couldn't help talking my experiences in U.S. He was very nice to hear my long, boring stories.
I really want to go to Morocco now. I just talked with a Moroccan friend. We met at OBU and shared many things together. Since we were both far away from home, we understood each other without words and became very close. I miss her... We are planning on seeing each other in Morocco next summer! I need to save money for that.
Life is wonderful and I'm very pleased that I'm here..
