I went to Oita with my parents to pick zach up past saturday. My father drove all the way and it took us for 4 hours and half. We had to drove back to Kurume so it was a long trip for us. The way to Oita, however, was very pretty. I've seen many beautiful mountains and rivers. Zach stayed with us untill today.
After we got zach, we went to have lunch close to his apartment. The restaurant we went to was very interesting which had both of Western and Japanese menu. My parents had Japanese style set lunch, zach had steak and I had a doria.. It was interesting that we all ate different kinds of foods there. My father wanted to take zach to the new aquarium in Oita. It's called Umitamago(means sea egg in Japanese). We saw dolphins, penguins and many other rare fishes. That was so much fun. We also went to a place where hot springs were welling. That was new for me. I felt that power of nature is so huge and energetic. We had a very good caramel sauce pudding steamed by hot spring there. with zach and my mother at the place we had a hot spring pudding Since we had zach, the way back to Kurume seemed to be short. In Kurume, we went to a yakimiku place (mixed grill place) for dinner. I usually try not to eat so many meat at the place but I couldn't help it... It was very good! Especially, I really liked kalbi(sliced rib) there. After we had a big dinner, we finally went home. We all had a long day. I slept very well. The next day, Zach and I went to Tenjin from the morning. We found a place which has bubble tea! It was very exciting for us because we had one in Canada and since then I'm a fan of bubble tea. They had bunch of different flavors and zach piced coconut and I picked green tea flavor. My favorite way to dirnk bubble tea is to leave tapioca a little bit at the buttom of a cup and chew them after drink juice. I'd love to go back that place sometime! After we got back from Tenjin, I took zach to the new shopping mall close to my house. I knew that they had some American foodstuff there so we went shopping. This mornig, we left home around 11:00 to Oita. My father took the different route this time and we passed Mt.Aso in Kumamoto. The view was awesome! We dropped in for grape picking on the way. Fresh grapes were very yummy and we got so many grapes to take home. I had such a wonderful weekend with my family and zach. I'm very thankful that my father drove all the way for almost 9 hours. I'm so glad that my parents liked zach too! お気に入りの記事を「いいね!」で応援しよう
