(1-English)On Saturday I took my first daughter Chikako to the special school for physically handicapped students to which she will move as it opens this April. She got her size measured for the school uniform. I assume few special schools, especially those for physically handicapped students have school uniforms and guess that this school decided to provide uniforms in conformity with the high school division for students with less serious mental disabilities, which opend two years ago and has mandatory school uniform. Meanwhile the school's physically handicapped division leaves students or guardians to purchase or wear the uniform at their option. We can purchase the uniform items separately as well. (2-English)The shortest route from home to the school is that we change trains at Shinjuku station, from a JR line to Keio line, and get off at Meidaimae (a station "in front of Meiji University" Izumi Campus.) However, I have to use stairs at the north side of a building inside the campus. We should use the Shimo Takaido station, just next to Meidaimae yet has much less frequency of train arrivals than that of Meidaimae, when I accompany Chikako. And on that day I underwent a sort of hardships facing many physical barriers as I took her to the school for the first time from home.
