(1)今日は智佳子のいるかツアー、江ノ島まで４時間もかかりました
藤沢駅と六会日大前駅前踏切の２か所で立て続けに人身事故があった
せいです。

(1)Today I took my handicapped first daughter Chikako to Enoshima Aquarium to watch the dolphin show. The journey, usually a pleasant one-hour "Romance car" express train ride, was an Odyssey as it took nearly four hour to reach the Aquarium
due to a series of accidents around 9:30 at Fujisawa station
and at a level crossing nearby Mutsuai Nichidaimae station.

(2)8:10のえのしま21号に乗ろうと思っていたのにパパが外に出てしまい8時まで戻ってこないので次の9:10に乗ろうと新宿駅に行ったら満席で、仕方なく急行で相模大野まで行って各駅の片瀬江の島行きに乗り換えたらまず大和で「藤沢駅の人身事故」でストップ、さらに「六会日大前踏切人身事故」で長後で足止めを食ってしまいました。

8:10に乗れていたら何でもなかったのに

(2)I planned to take Enoshima No.21 which departs Shinjuku at 8:10 but I and Chikako left home as late as 8:20 because my husband, who had been going out not making sure when I should go out.
I changed my plan to take the one-hour-later Enoshima No.23, which was already fully reserved when we arrived at Odakyu Line
entrance at Shinjuku.
I settled for taking an express train for Odawara and changed
trains at Sagami-ono.

We took a local train for Katase Enoshima, which was forced to stop twice, at Yamato and Chogo, due to the accidents, the latter of which disrupted the service between Chogo and Fujisawa for more than an hour.

We would not have faced such a challenge if we had taken the No.21.
