she was so sedate, so laid-back; this elegant old hotel is still capable of innovation. who'd have guessed? not me.
she seemed to have the run of the place. one day this weekend, as we were returning from lunch, we saw her come wandering out of one of the elevators. ha. where've you been? were you visiting one of the guests upstairs?
if not for the conference, some of us would have spent a lot more time getting our suits covered in doggie hair. good thing p had a roll of tape.
