世界大不同　　　

今日はお仕事をお休みして,関西空港へ行ってきました。というのも、妹がパリへの留学に旅立ったから。

関空は近いようで遠い。朝9時半に着こうと思ったら、朝6時8分のバスに乗らなければならず、休みだというのに日が昇る前から起きだして出発の準備。無事時間通りに空港に到着。

　一緒に見送りに来てくれた彼と、父親と妹との4人でお茶。11時半頃出発ゲートへ。彼女にとっては初の留学。娘を海外に初めて出す親の気持ちってこんなんかなぁ、と思いつつ送り出す。大変な思いもするかもしれないけれど、いい人達との出会いがあることを祈って…

明日はこの関空にイスラエルからのゲスト夫婦が到着する予定。年配の方なので長旅のあと、ここから瀬戸まで荷物を持って移動するのは大変だろう…すこし心配。ホストファミリーのご夫妻とはすでにEメールで連絡を取り合ってもらっているので、お互いのこともだいぶわかってきているだろう。ホームステイになるといいなぁと思う。


先ほど、中国語での書き込みができないことが発覚！大ショック…

I took a day off today. My sister took off to Paris this morning and I, with my BF　went to　Kansai air port to see her off.

Kansai area is not that far I thought, but to get to the air port takes so much time. I had to hop on the bus at 6:08am... so early...
arriving at the air port around 9:30am.

After a cup of tea, she had left. She had never studied abroad. This is her very first time. I am a bit worried but I know she will do fine. She might face to some diffuculties, though I hope she will meet good people and have great experiences.

We will have a couple from Israel tomorrow and they will arrive here in Kansai air port. Since they are their 70'S I feel sorry that they have to carry their laggages and have to travel to SETO after a long trip to Japan. If it was a same day I could meet them here and help them coming to Seto... They've already been having contact with hostfamilies a few times so I think they've already got to know each other. It'll be a good homestay for both of them, I hope.

I've just found out I can't type Chinese in to this homepage. Sorry to all of my Chinese friends...
