Satou Chikuzen celebrates 30th year of his solo career

A year ago tomorrow was 35th anniversary of Sing Like Talking.Satou Chikuzen says that Suzuki Masayuki alias Martin advised Chikuzen to celebrate everything related with anniversary year.That's why Chikuzen is celebrating his anniversary of solo career. Have you, including international visitors, watched TV commercial of McDonald's "Big Mac Set"?From this July, Chikuzen's first recording in 1987 is used for this advertisement.When he passed an audition and got selected as a commercial singers of Coca-Cola Company's jingle, he was twenty-three years old.Back then, Japan was in the middle of Babble Era, and many companies could afford to spend lavishly on publicity.This Jingle was recorded by a bunch of big-time musicians; Steve Gadd, Will Lee, Jeff Mironov, Joe Caro, Ralph McDonald, Richard Tee.After this Jingle was appreciated highly among industrial world, about two-hundred companies requested jingles to Chikuzen and Inoue Daisuke, the composer.However, Inoue told Chikuzen that he was going to turn down all of those offers if Chikuzen wanted to keep performing in the band, while he wouldn't mind if Chikuzen wanted to work as a jingle singer in the future.Inoue has seen singers who become well-known by jingles eventually get all-too-familiar and go decline.Back then, Chikuzen felt that it was a pity to throw away opportunity to make more money.But now, he says that without Inoue's wise decision, he would have not been what he is now.His first solo work was Japanese translation of "Something Sad".In the aftermath of the single, he made a release of first solo album "Cornerstones", his cover works series.Back then, record company side reacted negatively toward covers.On the other hand, fans welcomed this work, appreciating him for introducing those great songs.Chikuzen criticizes that it's only Japanese who underrepresents covered songs than original.That's why such a shameful thing happened in Japan that the singer who sang Japanese version theme song of a famous musical movie is abused. Aerosmith meets Taiyaki　#エアロスミスたい焼き

Sing Like Talking's 35th anniversary CD Box

I'm happy to place today on 6,100th day of this weblog that in this year 2023, Sing Like Talking is celebrating their 35th anniversary.As a commemoration, they are making a release of CD box set "Complete CD Box" with fourteen albums that they had made release in their career and extra bonus cut CD. Extra CD gathers songs that haven't been included in any of those fourteen albums.Some were made release as singles, some were new recordings for greatest-hit albums.All songs are remastered.Especially, first three albums and bonus-cut songs are by Stuart Hawkes, the engineer who has worked with Ed Sheelan.NOTE: This set is limited production by order.March 29, 2023, POCE-92137 / 51, JPY 33,000In summer 2021, Nishimura Tomohiko, the guitarist of S.L.T., suddenly came down with illness.Although Satou Chikuzen told on the radio that Nishimura's sickness was not Coronavirus infection, they haven't explained officially about his disease yet.Last autumn, Chikuzen made a release of his solo work.When Chikuzen held a memorial concert for it on October 9, 2022, Nishimura came back to the stage as a guest.And upcoming April 2nd, they are performing at Nakano Sun Plaza to celebrate their 35th anniversary and Nishimura's comeback.They say that this Concert hall is full of memories for them; on phase they were raising in popularity after their days of obscurity, they performed there every time they made releases of albums. But this Hall is closed down on July 2 due to deterioration and redevelopment.That's why they are holding the anniversary concert at Nakano Sun Plaza.-Me? I'd like to take this occasion to place a condolence for the passing of the great composer Vangelis.As long as I remember, like many of general listeners, I came to listen to his music as movie themes, such as Chariots Of Fire, Blade Runner, and so on.Also, I'd like to place appreciation that he provided great works for our country; "Antarctica", and "Anthem" for soccer World Cup in 2002.But unfortunately, most of individual albums seem to be hard-to-find in our country.When I found out about "Rosetta", an album inspired by a comet exploration mission, I had to order it from an online shop. Later, I married.One of Husband's favorite works of Vangelis is Aphrodite's Child's album "666" which is based on the Revelation.When I listened to this album, I thought: If "Rosetta" is Cosmos, "666" is Chaos.He is a Christian, and after he got baptized, a commemorative gift from his friend at church was a DVD of "Chariots of Fire". After I saw the news about the passing of Vangelis on newspaper, I listened to "Rosetta" again,　And searched to find about his album "Juno to Jupiter",　　And realized that this year is 45th anniversary of twin Voyager spacecrafts,Which I had forgotten due to Pandemic, and studying for a national exam.I'm going to keep "Juno to Jupiter" as a revel after the exam.I remember reading that when young Vangelis took up composition, adults around him asked where his music came from, and he pointed above, meaning universe or heaven.Now I wish he would give inspiration to current composers on Earth from Heaven.Who is 616161st visitor!?

Rockin' It Jazz Orchestra Live in 大阪Osaka ～Cornerstones 7～ / Chikuzen Satou

After Chikuzen made a release of "Don't Stop Me Now -Cornerstones E.P.-",He held live concerts performing with big band jazz orchestra in Tokyo and Osaka.This album includes all the seventeen songs performed at the concert in Osaka, and he made a release of this album as one of the "Cornerstones" series, his cover works album.　Chikuzen named Big band jazz orchestra that performed with him "Rockin' It Jazz Orchestra".He praises those musicians, describing that "top of the top of the top...".Just listen to "Birdland", and you'll see what he means."Rockin' It" is an old expression, but he used this phrase to express the excitement of the stage, and to show how the barrier of music category is low by performing famous songs of pops and rock with jazz orchestra.He selected well-known rock and pop songs that would sound familiar to many people, and intended to interlace those famous songs and big band jazz orchestra's authentic style.One of the songs is "Together", a popular song of Sing Like Talking.Chikuzen says that he expected how it would be exciting to perform this song with big band jazz orchestra, and simmered the idea so that he could make this performance come true someday."Do I Do" is included in "Cornerstones E.P.", and in this album, this song is performed with a salsa band Salsa Swingosa.　This time, this song was arranged for performance with jazz orchestra.　　How about comparing those two performances?Those songs are arranged by the trumpeter Eric Miyashiro.He didn't take part in concert in Tokyo, but he came to Osaka.Eric says: He and Chikuzen are the same age, so Chikuzen's selection of songs and his taste were similar.It was exciting to arrange those songs, but it was a hard work because all of them are famous songs.Even so, he thought Chikuzen's fabulous singing as a part of instruments and worked on arrangements of harmony and rhythm, which was an adventurous challenge for him.Several of the songs are performed with various style of horn section; sax ensemble, trombone ensemble, jazz trio with a trumpet...This album is on sale on April 22, 2020.　Analog record is also on sale on May 27, 2020.　　Due to Novel Corona-virus infection, many concerts and events that he planned to take part in were canceled. Chikuzen Satou sings Queen

Chikuzen from Sing Like Talking has been working as a solo singer in parallel.One of his principal works is cover works, which is still underestimated in Japan.This is named "Cornerstones" series; he performs songs of all ages and countries that he thinks they underlie music he creates, providing arrangement to bring out appeals of original songs. -A series of popular cover albums filled with Chikuzen's respect for music.All three members of S.L.T. call themselves Queen buff, and believe that they've been influenced by Queen the most after the Beatles, which I introduced before. But considering the background and his respect for Queen, he hasn't performed so many Queen's songs.He performed "Love Of My Life" included in the first album of SALT & SUGAR.This time, he is recording "Don't Stop Me Now", and placing the song title on the album.I wonder why he selected this song from various songs of Queen.When Chikuzen was a high-school boy, he won a prize at a music contest.At that time, one of the songs he performed was "Bohemian Rhapsody" mixing phrases of "Killer Queen" into the opera section.Incidentally; he appeared on stage with sweat style after the fashion of Freddie Mercury, but unfortunately, he belonged to judo club and had a close-cropped head in accordance with club's regulation back then."Don't Stop Me Now" is arranged by a big band lead by Eric Miyashiro.So is "Vision", a song Chikuzen wrote for this album.Other songs are arranged by Salsa Swingoza, Takana Miyamoto, and Toku, a singer and a flugelhorn player."Don’t Stop Me Now -Cornerstones EP-" is on sale on October 23, 2019.

Bohemian Rhapsody

No need to explain at this late date about this movie thematizing trajectory of Queen.-But first of all, the biggest news of last year: I married last November.Why do I place such event here? I predict that it can influence on what I place on this weblog and MySpace. At the beginning of last December, we went to Chikuzen Sato's Christmas concert together as early Christmas date. Just under Queen boom coming from the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody", as a tribute to Queen, they performed "Teo Toriatte".Husband was in high spirits to watch the stage.Actually, Chikuzen says that all three members of Sing Like Talking call themselves Queen buff, and he believes that they have been influenced by Queen the most after The Beatles.At that time, I decided that I want to watch "Bohemian Rhapsody".About two weeks later, we went to this movie.I belong to generation that didn't witness Queen's trajectory in real time, and Freddie Mercury was already in Heaven when I began to search for my favorite music from various countries.So I cannot say anything about the dramatized parts.Even so, I suppose it can be proud if our country could be a part of contribution to Queen's worldwide popularity -we must appreciate Kaoruko Togo, one of the key architects who contributed to Queen's popularity in our country.The line saying that band is like family -no matter how they are living together in harmony, sometimes oppositions and conflicts happen in their long lives-This convinces me as I think about the trajectory of my favorite band.And it sounded like an admonition to me who just experienced an important turning point.However...What interests me about Queen NOW is not this film nor their songs, but Brian May's latest song "New Horizons".On this New Year, New Horizons spacecraft successfully flew by a Edgeworth-Kuiper Belt object Ultima Thule. On this day, Brian May presented his new song dedicated to New Horizons program to public.Although now I can name my favorite songs of Queen more than I can count on one hand, I still might not appreciate Queen enough.But as the one who used to be immersed in space exploration until I backed down once, and came back when I learned about New Horizons' Pluto exploration, Since I heard this news, and found out that Brian May also celebrated Hayabusa2's arrival at asteroid Ryugu, I instantly grew fond of current Brian May, a guitarist from Queen and astrophysicist.Incidentally... my favorite song of Queen is "We Will Rock You", and Husband's favorite is "Show Must Go On".Who is 373737th visitor!?

Little Christmas / Chikuzen Satou

This year, Sing Like Talking celebrated their 30th anniversary.This is a Christmas gift in this year from Chikuzen Satou:From 2013, Chikuzen has made a release of three albums themetizing Christmas. At first, he planned to make a release of Christmas albums every year. But in 2016, he didn't record Christmas album but "Cornerstones 6" performing with orchestra. Last year, their highest priority was to prepare for 30th anniversary.Instead, every Christmas season, Chikuzen goes out on tour titled "Your Christmas Night" with a jazz trio he trusts a lot -"The Jazz Creatures":Piano: Takana Miyamoto, Bass: Yousuke Inoue, Drums: Yoshihito Etou.The group is named because they met and performed together first at Sakai-minato, Tottori, where is famous for ghost manga.In this Christmas season, they are going on tour from Nov.18.Chikuzen's Christmas work in this year is:Seven of those live-recorded songs collected at Christmas concerts.And two songs recorded newly are included:"Ayumi (step)" -Original song is by wacci. How is S.L.T. celebrating their anniversary?

30th anniversary day of Sing Like Talking is coming -September 30, 2018. They are going on to a special anniversary tour titled as "Festive".　Sep. 24: Osaka　Sep. 29: Tokyo　Oct. 8 : Omiya, Saitama　Oct. 21: Aomori, their home town.Then, concert in Tokyo is on the day before Sep. 30, so some people might have wondered how they are spending the day of their 30th anniversary day -so did I.But information about the 30th anniversary day came up.They are having one-day special exhibition, titled as "QUATTRO STANDARDS EXTRA- SING LIKE TALKING 30th Anniversary Exhibition".This event consists of two parts.First part: Exhibition of their music instruments, music scores and various articles related with their career.To see this Exhibition, no entrance fee is charged -you need only drink charge.Second part: Talk show and live performance by S.L.T.You need to be a member of fan club or registered viewer of official website to get a ticket.But as one of the avid fans of S.L.T., I assure that it's worth visiting just Exhibition even if you don't have admission for talk and performance show.-Me? Single "Vox Humana" and best-sellection album "3rd Reunion" / Sing Like Talking

In this 30th anniversary year of S.L.T., they made a release of a new single on June 27 -"Vox Humana".The title means "human voice" in Latin.Chikuzen Sato talked on his radio program that he was inspired by an album of Kenny Loggins with the same title, and wrote this song.Members of S.L.T. mention that this song is about affection all over the world and around ourselves, and we need to express it actively.Affection is expressed by talking to somebody, voicing opinions and thoughts and feeling, listening to others...Anytime when we need to change and improve our lives, the first step is to say aloud what we need or want.We also need to voice in order to help and encourage people having trouble.Music is a mixture of African sound which is often used in S.L.T.'s music, and electronic sound.They also made a release of a music video of this song. 故郷想 -still long long way to go

　It's already seven years after 3.11 earthquake disaster, and reconstruction of buildings and land readjustment have made progress.But still, there are about twenty thousand evacuees, and about seven thousand people live in temporary housing.Besides, reconstruction of spirit hasn't made headway enough.This year, as long as I read and watch articles and TV programs about 3.11 earthquake disaster, I had an impression that central people neglect people at spot after they just made and left tangible material objects. From the next year after the earthquake disaster in northeastern Japan, Chikuzen Satou from Sing Like Talking started a series of small concerts alone as reconstruction assistance. All the members of S.L.T. are from Aomori, one of the prefectures in northeastern Japan.Besides, on March 11, 2011, Chikuzen was in Sendai for promotion of S.L.T.'s new album, and experienced this earthquake.According to Chikuzen, one of the major concerns of people at spot is: Experience and lessons of earthquake disaster are fading, and survivors and victims are forgotten.The intention of this concert is chain of memory.That's why Chikuzen has a plan of his own to visit every prefectures one by one per month -except for when he is too occupied with works of Sing Like Talking.If local fans visit his concert, and local media come to cover and report, this concert can be an opportunity to have them recall about earthquake disasters and people in Touhoku and Kyushu area.At first, the title was "北郷想". "北" is "north", "郷" is "home" -both geographical places and people, "想" is "affection and support".On April 14 and 15, 2016, a massive earthquake struck Kumamoto and Ooita -southwestern area of Japan.Back then, Chikuzen wasn't holding this series of concerts to give top priority to Sing Like Talking.He thought that it's not proper to use the title "北".When he resumed the series of concerts, the title was changed to "故郷想".　"故郷" means "home".　　This title doesn't limit geographical place in Japan.　　　Also; after earthquake disaster in 2011, a lot of supports were sent from Kyuushu area including Kumamoto, so Chikuzen says that the new title expresses repayment and gratitude from northeastern area.Even while the purpose of this series of concerts is reconstruction assistance, Chikuzen says that he hopes visitors relax and enjoy this concert like a concert at a cafe.Chikuzen selects small concert places, so often it's very cramped.At this series of concerts, he selects songs based on lyrics.Songs of S.L.T., songs he made release as a solo singer, cover songs in Japanese and English, old and new songs...he performs various songs.He selects songs that sound different if we listen thinking of purpose of this series of concerts.As of March 2018, he has held this series of concerts in 33 of 47 prefectures.And his challenge and our solidarity go on...Who is 320,000th visitor！？(Previous)

At the opening of 2018...

On September 30, 2018, Sing Like Talking is celebrating 30th anniversary.To commemorate this anniversary, several plans have been going on from September 30, 2017.One of them was a movie "Music Of My Life" based on e-mails from fan club members. First thing to notice in this year is; their new album "Heart of Gold" is on sale on January 17.This album is coming after the absence of four years and half since "Befriend". As a result, about half of the songs in this album are already released as singles.On September 30, 2017, a special website was opened to celebrate their upcoming 30th anniversary.　They place information about concerts, CDs and books, and motion pictures of celebration messages from musicians and radio station staffs S.L.T. has worked together.On the same day, "Sing Like Talking Artist book" was on sale.This book places interviews to the members, photos at special concerts in summer 2017, and their recent activity log.I suppose those website and book are Japanese only, though.According to Chikuzen Satou, in 1988 when they made their debut, more than 800 singers and bands made their debut in the economic bubble era in Japan. Actually, B'z, whose guitarist won Grammy Award, and Dreams Come True made their debut in the same year.It's excellent of them to stay well-known in music scenes for 30 years.At the same time, S.L.T. has established current position by their own way.With career they've experienced, composition works based on abundant musical backgrounds, and superb songs of Chikuzen, they are appreciated also as musicians' musician.That's why they gain favor from fans who appreciate music with quality.Who is 303030th visitor!?◇：Ready to place translation if asked

"Music Of My Life"

This movie comes from three letters from fans of Sing Like Talking.This is shown at only ten theaters in Ishikawa, Oosaka, Niigata, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Hokkaido, Aomori, Miyagi, Kanagawa, Aichi,Starting from October 7 or 14 or 21 or 28 depending on each theater, and screened for one week.They solicited e-mails from fan club members with the theme "me and Sing Like Talking".At 29th anniversary concert, they mentioned about it; at first, their purpose was for talk-show CDs distributed at fan club.But as members of S.L.T. and staffs read those e-mails, an idea came up that they could make a movie about relationship between music and lives.Everyone has music linked to occasion of lives.S.L.T. is celebrating 30th anniversary next year.During S.L.T.'s long career, each fan has their own lives, and memories of their own linked to songs of S.L.T.From hundreds of "me and Sing Like Talking" e-mails, three stories were selected.1. A couple of high-school girl and boy;Since they separated suddenly, they have lived lives of each.Twenty years later, they run across each other again.2. A high-school girl, and her mother with illness;The considerate daughter nurses her mother every day, and at the same time, she suffers that nobody understands her distress.3. Is music beyond border?

As the one who give favor to Sing Like Talking, I was also the one who felt glad to read "How I became a Fan of A Japanese Singer who Sang in English", which Chikuzen Satou himself found and introduced on his weblog and Twitter: An international visitor in Japan visited a music festival.　This writer couldn't understand Japanese songs due to language barrier, 　　But one of the performers Chikuzen started his stage with an English song, 　　　And this writer felt that "the feeling was like a million dollar".Let me share my experience I recalled:I went to a music school in London for a short time.　I was the only Japanese in the institute I went.　　I brought a greatest-hit album of S.L.T., 　　　One day, I asked the instructor to play one of the ballads at a theory class.　　　　All the classmates said "What a lovely voice he has!"This song is sung in Japanese, so back then, I thought that music is beyond border.This was the beginning of "Favorite, recommendation" in this weblog ...but now I feel that my outlook was really narrow. This time, I appreciate this writer for discovering one of the great musicians in Japan.-At the same time, as I read this essay, I felt that language barrier still exists.From late 1970s, fusion bands from Japan became internationally famous -their music is instrumental, and language is not a problem. Rosetta / Vangelis　#GoodbyeRosetta

I've recognized this composer from famous songs like "Chariots of Fire" and "Hymn".I'd like to take this occasion to place a gratitude and respect to this great composer for offering "Anthem" for World Cup 2002.But as for this latest album of Vangelis, I found information on Twitter, @ESA_Rosetta -otherwise I might have missed.Actually, in our country, only import was available -at least when this album was on sale and I tried to search.I read commentary to find that the first song in this album was played on the day Philae lander touched down on Comet67P.Although I missed when Rosetta began to fly along Comet 67P and Philae landed,As I listened to this album, I wondered how Vangelis worked on songs in this album watching adventure of Rosetta and Philae in real time.Rosetta's mission, which inspired Vangelis, ended in success on September 30.When I was a junior high school student, I had interest in space and space exploration, but backed down after I frank in mathematics in high school, and came back in spring 2015. From "北郷想" to "故郷想"

From 2012, Chikuzen Satou from Sing Like Talking is going on a series of solo gigs as charity concerts for 3.11 earthquake disaster, visiting every prefecture one by one per month. On Oct. 2015, S.L.T. had special concerts in Osaka and Tokyo; they performed with strings section.Their live performance in Tokyo was made into a documentary movie.Of course, watching concerts live is good, but in movie theaters, 5.1 surround sound expresses dynamism and high realistic sensation, which is characteristic of movie.And musicians' interviews are included, too; not only people on stage, but also Hitoshi Konno, who was in charge of strings arrangement.When I was asked about the movie from someone who didn't know about S.L.T, I explained that it's a documentary like "Michael Jackson's 'This Is It'" -how is this description?This movie is shown from May 15 until Jun. 19, with members' talk shows.At Nagoya on May 21, Oosaka on Jun. 11, Tokyo and Kanagawa on Jun. 12, all three of them took part in, and other nine theaters, only Chikuzen Satou appears on stage.From Jun. 11 to 17, this movie is shown in Tokyo and Osaka like general movies.However...This series of concerts were held in Tokyo and Osaka.Surely, it might be a matter of draw,But I think this movie should be put on in other areas where S.L.T. troops didn't visit for live performance last autumn and this series of talk shows.-I hope gradually more and more movie theater put on this movie as a general movie -eventually, even beyond Japan.Cast: Sing Like Talking... Condolence

I'd like to take this occasion to place my condolence on passing of Maurice White, the founder of Earth, Wind & Fire.Needless to mention about the meritorious deeds of this band, Earth, Wind & Fire is one of the most memorable band in my music life.・When I was the third-grade of elementary school, one of the songs used for dancing program of school field day was "Let's Groove".But I found what this song was when I was sixteen.Come to think of it, I wonder why teachers back then selected such a difficult song to have 8-year-old children dance.And in this year when I was sixteen, at recital of piano and electric organ, I selected by myself and performed "September".・Before I went to a music school in London in summer 2001, I had to submit demo.Back then, all karaoke of English songs I had was instrumental version of "Let's Groove", which is included in one of the greatest-hits albums sold in Japan.So I used this song for audition.I recorded two songs, and I sang another in Japanese.・From summer 2003 to autumn 2006, most of my memory is lost due to psychotic depression, But I barely remember the concert of Earth, Wind & Fire in September 2004, which turned out to be Maurice White's final visit to Japan.On Feb. 12, Chikuzen Satou is going to feature the memorial for Maurice White on his radio program "Friday Musical Voice" from 9:00 p.m.(JST).You can listen to this program with Internet and smartphones all over the world.

Condolence

As a fan of Sing Like Talking, who worked together with great musicians from TOTO,I'd like to take this occasion to place my condolence for the passing of Mike Porcaro.When S.L.T. made a debut and had a debut concert, Jeff Porcaro took part in as one of the support members.According to Chikuzen Satou, many of the audience came with the aim of Jeff, so they felt as if their stand were reversed.Back then, Jeff asserted that S.L.T. wouldn't make a hit, but soon they would be recognized.And encouraged S.L.T. to keep working on what they believe.-And Jeff's prediction turned out to be right.After Jeff suddenly passed away, S.L.T. wrote "My Desire" to dedicate for Jeff.Also, Chikuzen wrote "the wings of time" for Takashi Numazawa's solo album, which is included in Chikuzen's "Free as a bird", too.In this spring, S.L.T. went on a concert tour.Chikuzen mentioned mourning and affection for Mike Porcaro,And their resolution that creating their music sublimating things they feel wonderful and what they've learned from various musicians they respect, including Mike and Jeff.And they performed TOTO's "I'll Be Over You".At a stretch, they performed "My Desire".Later, Chikuzen let out on Facebook that they closed this song with the phrase from "Rosanna", but I didn't recognize this.◇：Ready to place translation if asked

You might get suspicious that I place this on "Music 10-line" instead of "Favorite" -but just read it.Shou Kiryuuin (Vo-karu) and Yutaka Kyan (Gita-) started this band, and later, Jun Utahiroba (Be-su) and Kenji Darubissyu (Doramu) joined, and those four members consist this band now.Part names are not spelling errors but their official transcription.At first, they were a common rock band, but Yutaka had a hard time improving his guitar performance, and attendance remained restrained.One day, Shou suggested Yutaka flamboyant action performance instead of guitar solo.This attracted audience a lot, and since then, they've raised in popularity as "air-band" -or a performance group who don't play musical instruments on stage.Then, considering the fact mentioned below, you might think that they are the last ones I place on "Favorite" or this weblog -that's right -Until I took interested in them and changed my mind when they launched out into a challenge with this single:These days, more and more CDs are sold with benefit such as tickets for handshaking events and special concerts, or with pluralized types, to stretch sales.They are also the ones who do so.But when they made a release of a new single "Laura no kizudarake" (covered all over with scars of Laura), they declared that they were selling only music.No prize, no benefit like special event tickets, and they even removed artworks of jacket; just plain white jacket.One of the three songs in this single was used for an advertising jingle of a karaoke chain, though.They were prepared that the sales would drop to one-fifth of the former single.As a result, the sales exceeded their estimate in the first week.I don't deny an opinion that distribution would be enough if they want to sell music itself only.But if the fans bought the former single and didn't buy this single, they might be called into question what they expect from buying CDs...I suppose many of the musicians I've placed on "Favorite" desire to appeal and sell their music itself, but even such musicians are forced to make sales strategies such as DVDs and special booklets coming with limited edition, special event tickets for fans who buy several CDs, and so on.Golden Bomber and their label side deny that their intention was antithesis or criticism against someone else.Even so, as a result, this challenge caused a stir in recent situation of music industry in our country, however...I appreciate the significance of this challenge, but I confess this was the very reason why I was all the more disappointed that the song they performed at year-end special music programs was not this song but "Memeshikute"(effeminate), their synonymous song-While I understood that publicity is more important for the state-run program, of course...Later, Shou mentioned on his weblog that they wish they could perform the latest song on annual Year-end Grand Song Festival.August 20, 2014 Daikisound EAZZ-126Who is the 130,000th visitor!?◇：Ready to place translation if asked

"北郷想" -Still long long way to go...

From this October, Chikuzen Satou from Sing Like Talking is holding solo performance concerts every month.He is visiting each prefecture a month.Part of the profits is donated for stricken area of 3.11 earthquake.Members of Sing Like Talking are from Aomori prefecture.Besides, when a massive earthquake and tsunamis destroyed vast area of eastern Japan on March 11, 2011, Chikuzen was in Sendai, one of the areas damaged badly.Since then, S.L.T. hosted aid concerts in Osaka and Tokyo, distributed a charity song recorded with percussionists from Senegal, took part in other charity events, and so on.They've tried various things they could do as musicians.More than two years have passed, and still long way to go for reconstruction.Chikuzen thought what he could do so that people keep the earthquake disaster and stricken areas and survivors in mind.And he decided to set on this journey.It's going to take about four years to visit all the 47 prefectures in Japan every month.Each concert is not in large scale.Even so, he hopes that a chain of hope and enthusiasm would come up if he keeps on what he can do.The first stage was on Oct. 26, in Aomori, his home town.The second stage is on Nov. 23, in Miyazaki.To get tickets, you need to make a reservation by e-mail to the agency of S.L.T.(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-Handle)(October)

Rollback operation time

Unfortunately, I cannot watch Year-end Grand Song Festival this year; I'm going to a countdown concert of my favorite singer.However... as long as my memory serves me right, I haven't watched this program on TV since I became twenties; I'm busy with chores such as year-end cleaning and cooking New Year's dishes -homemaker is a tough task.　I enjoy it on the radio instead, though.And I don't feel like watching this program with my family; every time my grandfather watches younger singers on TV, he complains that he doesn't approve their songs as music -so I avoid watching TV with him by plunging into year-end housework. (See also Jan. 5, 2007)　Now today's main story: (Two years ago) Last year, several groups from neighboring peninsular country appeared on Year-end Grand Song Festival, but this year, none of them is coming.Unfortunately, since I began to watch music programs like other people, there are only three singers from this country I've taken interested in, and two of them are proficient singers, and at least none of idol groups famous in our country is included.So this has nothing to do with me and all I'd like to comment is:Once one of my favorite musicians who is a genuine proficient musician lamented on the radio that why singers and groups from neighboring peninsular country and domestic idol groups dominant the chart in our country these days.Surely, I've seen many of them on music programs I watch, and I've had an impression that many of them are much alike.However... due to -or thanks to- recent conflict between two countries, less and less singers and groups from neighboring peninsular country appear on TV in our country.It's deplorable that politics issues affect culture and art.But the other side of the coin is: It can be a great opportunity to raise the level of domestic music, isn't it?For example, by finding and pulling out little-known proficient musicians with real talent and personality.There could have been a background that there were less proficient singers in our country and our music scene couldn't compete with other countries.I'm placing again what I've placed several times; it is more constructive to demand better domestic music if you have time and critical ears to run down music from overseas -as well as dramas and movies.◇ ：Ready to place translation if asked

On the very day of the earthquake on Mar. 11, Chikuzen Satou and his manager was in Sendai to take part in a radio program -one of the area damaged badly.Fortunately, thanks to the kindness of staffs of the radio station, they could shelter in the studio until they could arrange a car to come back to Tokyo.All the staffs of the radio station were struggling hard to provide information and music in a state of emergency.As Chikuzen watched the situation, he keenly felt magnificence of power of humanity and music -he placed the statement on their official site later.After all, the release of "Empowerment" was postponed.And some of their concerts from this spring were canceled.Even so, their concert tour has started, changing the form and contents.To begin with, in Tokyo and Osaka.Various guests are invited for those two stages named as reconstruction of spirit, held as reconstruction support event.And "Empowerment" is coming on May 18.There are some people accuse that it is indiscreet to perform and enjoy music under such a situation.But I read an interview of a fashion designer on a magazine:He held a fashion and performance show on a broad scale in Russia after the dissolution of Soviet Union.Back then, some people around him said that it would be better to bring some bread in times of political turbulence.On the other hand, the local audience said that if there are three pieces of bread, they would have only two and instead of one more, they would like to receive something for spiritual nourishment.And remember, finding fault is foolproof and proof of foolishness.As one of the music fans and a petty musician, I'm also the one wondering what music can do for people in such a disaster.Now it might be time to be called into question what kind of music really save, cheer up and inspire people...Today, I'd like to take this occasion to show respect for Cindy Lauper, who came to Japan on the very day of the earthquake and went ahead of her concerts.And let me take this occasion to show my gratitude for various support from entertainment world.(See also Mar. 21, 2011)(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-handle)◇　：Ready to place translation if asked

Sing Like Talking is back!

(See also May 19, 2009)It's already less than one month before the latest single of S.L.T. "Dearest" comes.And less than two months before the latest album "Empowerment" comes after seven years of absence.During the seven years of absence after the release of "Renascence" in 2003, each member was concentrating on their solo works:Chikuzen Satou made a release of his solo albums and cover albums.Chiaki Fujita was mainly working as a producer of music for popular games.Tomohiko Nishimura was performing as a guitarist of Yoshihiro Kai's back-up band, and various scenes.And now, as the title "Empowerment" shows, each of them has increased their internal maturity and come back together again.Their new single "Dearest" is coming on March 9.And their new album "Empowerment" is coming on April 6.-For me, their new album is like a birthday present from them coming about one week later.(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-Handle)

Michael Jackson's "This Is It" again

(See Nov. 8, 2009 first)Last Christmas eve, this movie was on air on TV as a special program.I watched the video during New Year's holiday and last weekend.Various big names who love Michael Jackson gathered and talked about his appeals and surprising episodes.Their fuss aside... again, I wondered if we had listened to his important messages very well enough while he was alive.Dancers who were going to perform with Michael and one of the guitarists reproduced the stage of "This Is It"."Thriller" and "Smooth Criminal" were on air.There is a dancer from Japan who had a dream to dance with Michael.He tried the audition for "This Is It" and passed, but he couldn't take part in the tour due to a contract with Madonna alias Queen of Pops.He appeared on the talk show section of this special program and showed a solo performance, but I thought that if he performed on the reproduced stage as a lead dancer standing in for Michael, his dream could be fulfilled... -although this idea could be an unnecessary concern.As for the movie- This time, I enjoyed the passion of all the people working together for this concert tour -musicians, dancers, various creators and technicians, and so on, including Michael himself.By the way... on the day this special program was on air, the new digital TV set hadn't come yet due to stock shortage, so I was still watching analog TV. Before 30th anniversary

Next year is 30th anniversary of Toshiki Kadomatsu's professional career.Since he made his debut in June 1981, he has been appreciated highly both as a singer-songwriter and a producer.However, although he has produced various songs that made smash hits, he himself hasn't made a smash hit.He has stuck to recording albums with high quality.His albums have placed high in the charts many times, but not as for singles.Kadomatsu talked on stage in Osaka -if there are "general public" and "music fans", he has been loved and supported by "music fans".He said that 30 years are passing without being recognized by general public.In Kadomatsu's career, once he stopped his works as a singer in 1993. (See Jun. 16, 2007)He calls it "freeze".When he resumed his performance in 1998 -he calls it "thawing"-, it was said to be important to be recognized by young fans.However, he felt that it must be just hallucinations to feel young when he was with younger people.He feels that fewer musicians try to create works appealing to adults.He thinks adults must be roll models for younger generation.Besides, there are more adults than young people in Japan due to lower birth late.So he tried to create a new album accepted by adult fans over their thirties.This is his latest album "Citylights Dandy". (See Oct. 3, 2010)Jocularly, he said that the tour after the release of this album was "R-30" -"No greenhorns".According to Kadomatsu, he is not sure when he is making a release of next album due to contract with the record company.However, 30th anniversary of his professional career is coming.He has already been making his next move for 30th anniversary concert in June 2011 at Yokohama Arena.In June 2006, his 25th anniversary concert went on more than six hours, and many people missed the last train.(See also Jun. 12, 2008)That's why 30th anniversary concert is starting at 4 p.m. so that audience can enjoy the lingering imagery after the concert.And various musicians he has trusted and worked together are performing together, but no guests.Besides, songs Kadomatsu wants to sing are selected; not all the songs loved by audience are the songs Kadomatsu is happy to sing.Now Kadomatsu is fifty years old.Some of the musicians -and his friends- he worked with are already gone. AGA-SHIO is visiting Europe!

(About them: See Mar. 1, 2010 first)AGA-SHIO is a duo of Hiromitsu Agatsuma, a Japanese traditional musical instrument Tugaru-Shamisen player, and Satoru Shinoya alias SALT, a jazz pianist.In this March, they performed in Segovia, Spain.From May 28, they are going on a tour in Europe.Not only in Europe, but also at Cairo, Egypt on Jun. 8 -SALT's birthday.SALT claims himself being a Parisian in his previous existence -whether you believe or not apart.So he is looking forward to perform at Paris during the tour.Why don't you welcome them and enjoy completely new Japanese traditional music?◇　:Ready to place translation if asked

The beginning of "Season 3"

Toshiki Kadomatsu's latest album "No Turns" was on sale in March 2009.(About him: See also Mar. 17, 2008)However, his concert tour was in autumn 2009:He wanted to go on a tour with musicians who worked on recording together, but they are all in great demand and busy.So he couldn't go on a tour with his band right after the album was on sale.He put on live shows on small stages with a small number of musicians in this spring and summer.He said that every experience of those various live shows pay off later.At a concert in Osaka, Kadomatsu said that it's such a luxury that he can go on tour with a band consisted of great musicians:Recently, it is somehow possible to record CDs with quality without spending costs.And he feels that music and CDs are not consumed with appreciation recently.Since music is not matter, it's invisible and recently he feels that fewer people understand and appreciate great performance and really good sound.But he is particular about sound, and tries to build up his music spending time and money and personnel just as in the past.And live performances with those musicians-Each stage during a tour is important.He also said that the meanings and styles of concerts are changing, too.Even so, Kadomatsu is grateful for his fans and listners supporting him for 28 years.Kadomatsu seldom appears on TV.So in spite of he has created many albums that hit the charts, this fact is not known very well.He is highly appreciated as a producer, and he's produced various hit songs for famous singers.Some people might remember winter Olympic in Nagano -the song performed at the closing ceremony was by his band AGHARTA.But back then, he used the name Taro Oshamambe as a songwriter, not Toshiki Kadomatsu.His next goal by his sixty is: To keep working on his music solely and leave his mark in the world, without waning as he gets older.At the next to last song, Kadomatsu talked that he's become 49 this year.And declared that he would keep on pushing himself as much as possible with musicians and staffs working together, and with his fans and listeners.As I heard his speech, I realized that Kadomatsu is overtaking ages of his two lost band members -and sworn friends. Michael Jackson's "This Is It"

Please excuse me for minor grammar or expression mistakes.I am also the one who was shocked to hear the news of untimely passing of Michael Jackson alias King of Pops.I seldom watch TV at home as I confessed before, so I ended up watching his performance very little even on motion pictures, much less I've never seen his stages live.Even so, I have various memories concerning his songs:For example, when I went to a music school in London in summer 2001, one of the songs we performed at class was "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough".And "We Are The World" was placed in English textbook when I was a junior high school student.I'm not going to mention details about the movie for people who haven't watched yet-But let me place that I felt that this movie was a precious record, remains, and message from him.The most important message he tried to deliver must be to remind love for people, world, and the Earth.When I went to a concert of Stevie Wonder in 2007 for the second time, I realized that Stevie's songs are filled with love."Love" does not mean romance between a man and a woman, but the spirit of valuing a caring and supportive relationship between each other and living together -back then, I thought so.At the root of "love" that Stevie and Michael express must be "respect" -this time, I thought so.As the credits were shown on the screen at the end of the movie, some people in the theater applauded.I was joining my hands in prayer.If this world tour of Michael Jackson came true, how was the stage like?-There is no knowing now.Even so, I would like to show respect for Michael, for leaving us an important message and such great shows, even granting that it was in rehearsals.-And for Kenny Ortega, for making those precious records and message from Michael into this documentary film.Last of all- I'd like to take this occasion to place this word:Rest in peace, Michael Jackson.◇　:Ready to place translation if asked

SALT&SUGAR is coming back!

(About them: See Jun. 8, 2006 and Mar. 6, 2009)SALT&SUGAR, a duo of Chikuzen Satou and Satoru Shionoya alias SALT, is making a release of two albums after 13 years’ absence.They formed a duo and released their first album "Concerts" in 1996:10 live-recording songs and 3 original songs recorded in studio. (When I placed it on "Favorite" on Jun. 8, 2006, I didn't know how to place photos on this weblog.)After that, they've performed together at various concerts.They hold special annual concerts with various singers in Osaka every year around May 5 -Chikuzen's birthday.It’s named “Cross Your Fingers”. (See also Jul. 14, 2006)SALT holds concerts every year around Christmas in Tokyo with Chikuzen and various musicians.It's named "Saltish Night".And they took part in several omnibus albums as SALT&SUGAR.However, they didn't make a release nor wrote their original songs for 13 years.On August 19, their two albums are released on the same day.Chikuzen and SALT belong to different record companies.From Universal Music Chikuzen belongs to, a studio-recording album "Interactive":Some songs are from omnibus CDs they took part in.Some songs are written by them together, and some covered numbers are newly recorded.From Victor Entertainment SALT belongs to, a live-recording album "Concerts 2":Songs performed at "Saltish Night" are included. Sing Like Talking is coming back!

This year is 20th anniversary of FM802, a radio station in Osaka.There is a special event to commemorate.The concerts are held on May 30 and 31.And on May 31, S.L.T. is coming back for it after five years' absence!According to Chikuzen, they owe to FM802; they are friends with some DJs on FM802, and Chikuzen himself has a radio program on FM 802.And one of the backgrounds they rose in popularity is their songs were played in heavy rotation on FM802.From 2004, each member has been working solo.Further backgrounds aside, Chikuzen must wish to perform together as S.L.T. at their best because S.L.T. is really important.Since they decided to come together again for the event, even for one-night stand, their performance will show no intervening blanks -I believe.My only concern is: As reported, new flu continues to spread in Hyogo and Osaka.I hope this event won't be affected... A pianist who brings out other musicians and their flavor

A pianist Satoru Shionoya alias SALT-His piano captures the hearts of various professional musicians, too.His appeals were introduced on a late-night music show. (About him: See Apr. 23, 2007)He always has a smile on his face -naturally, that attracts people around him.He has arranged and recorded the piano for various pop songs in Japan.Now many singers and musicians wish to perform with him.SALT made his debut as a pianist of a salsa band Orquesta De La Luz.Now even jazz pianists of the first rank give him due respect. Thank you very much for reading.Some people might wonder why about one-fourth articles of my weblog are English.It was when I went to a music school in London in summer 2001-I brought a CD of Sing Like Talking and asked the teacher to play it at a class.All the classmates and even the teacher fell in love with Chikuzen Satou's song saying "What a lovely voice he has!"After I returned to Japan, I began to write various things to introduce S.L.T. to my classmates in London.Sometimes I translated articles on magazines, and sometimes I thought up introduction in English.When I decided to set up this weblog so that I could read Chikuzen's weblog, I came up with an idea of sharing those introductions in English -that is the main background.I've placed 30 CDs on "Favorite" in two years and half; about one CD per month on average, Japanese musicians only.Most CDs I've placed are of S.L.T. families and my favorite musicians; those works are easier to introduce, but it is partial to introduce only those works.Of course I still have some more albums I haven't introduced yet, though.Now, since I've accumulated introducing music in Japan in English, I'm thinking of placing wider range of musicians and works.I wonder what to place from now on.I set a kind of criteria in deciding what to place -but I'm not sharing it here.To begin with -what should I place next?◇　:Ready to place translation if asked

Special concert is on air on TV!

Late-night music show "Myu-jin" -various musicians have been introduced in this program.I placed introduction on November 14, 2007 after Chikuzen Satou was introduced , and March 17, 2008 after Toshiki Kadomatsu was introduced.Nine musicians and groups who had appeared on this program got together for a special concert on August 21 at Zepp Tokyo.Some songs performed on this special stage are on air.On TV Tokyo chain: Latter half on Sep. 14, from 10:54 p.m. to 11:24 p.m.On BS Japan: First half on Sep. 12, Latter half on Sep. 19, both from 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.Casts: Kotaro Oshio, Hiroko Kokubu, Chikuzen Satou, Jake Shimabukuro, Aoi Teshima, Rimi Natsukawa, BEGIN, Nanae Mimura, Kazufumi Miyazawa on GANGA ZUMBAI watched the first half on TV Tokyo chain on Sep. 7 -it was great! I enjoyed various performance, especially "Stand By Me" by Chikuzen and BEGIN.I can hardly wait to watch the latter half on Sep. 14.

Kadomatsu's philosophy of work

Toshiki Kadomatsu's commitment to his works was shown on a music show on Mar. 9.(About him: See Jun. 16, 2007)(Scene in Tokyo, Rehearsal for a concert)Kadomatsu is on tour with bands organized with various members.This time, the main members were three keyboardists -Toshiyuki Mori, Yoshihiro Tomonari, Shingo Kobayashi-They are all old and trusted members of Kadomatsu's back-up band.However, he made a lot of requests during the rehearsal -even about the tuning of the keyboard and piano.And he told camera operators to film him unnoticed: He was thinking about the program in great detail.(Scene in Sendai, before the concert)He paid attention to the microphones of cameras filming the concert so that the video would show high realistic sensation.And he operated sound mixer on stage by himself; real artisan spirit.Song: You're My Only Shining StarAfter the concert-Kadomatsu was asked if the performance on this day was perfect, and answered it was no good.He would never give himself full marks.What does he need for the greatest concerts?His answer was simple: Good songs and good performance. Chikuzen talked about his cover works on a music show on Nov. 11:The reason why he is so eager for cover works, saying that cover works is the most important, more than original.The scene started with photo session in the town where Chikuzen lived in before he made a debut.Chikuzen made a debut as a member of Sing Like Talking in 1988, age 25.Since then, he has been highly appreciated not only as a singer, but also a composer.At the same time, he started his solo works with a covered album "Cornerstones".Cover works boom is at its height in Japan now.But Chikuzen has been doing his cover works for 12 years.He explained his eagerness that it is the delight and joy when he finds good songs:He wants to pursue the melody and sound he feels really good.The scene of recording:Chikuzen recorded chorus out of the air-Various elements are included in his music, country, soul, gospel -and The Beatles.Since he started his music career as S.L.T., his belief has been "music is beyond category".The scene in Memphis:Chikuzen listened to the performance of a street band -his interest to new music is never-ending.The final process of mixing of "Cornerstones 4" was done in a familiar studio in Memphis.The song written 27 years ago impressed the engineers in Memphis:Chikuzen said that it might be because words with melody that people can share the emotions; a miracle created by a song, beyond language barrier.At that night, they went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner.A few young men took an interest in them and played the guitar for them.Chikuzen borrowed his guitar and performed "Change the World" as a token of thanks, then customers in the restaurant started to sing and dance.After Chikuzen returned to Japan, he took part in various events and concerts.At the event of a radio station in Sapporo, he performed "Hey Jude" with other guests.A famous song performed by Chikuzen united the stage and audience:Chikuzen compared performing a famous song together as a campfire -sharing the song and joy.The scene in Yokohama, where Chikuzen lived in when he was young, dreaming of becoming a professional musician:He used to sit on a roof of an apartment building, listening to music, playing the guitar.He said that he was glad to find the appeal of the songs he liked back then had never faded; it is his starting point of his cover works -and his music.Song: Get BackChikuzen concluded his eagerness for his cover works saying:Good music exists in good songs; he wishes to succeed and pass down.And for the people who listen to those songs for the first time, and for the people who already know the original-He wishes everyone to listen to good songs, and enhance his music and songs, too.(Translation: Unable-to-think-up-HN)

Chikuzen's "Cornerstones 4" is coming!

Chikuzen Satou's latest cover album "Cornerstones 4" is on sale on Nov. 14 -tomorrow.On Nov. 17 and 18, Chikuzen is going out on a tour of in-store promotion live at six places in 48 hours:Nov. 17: Sapporo, Tokyo, OsakaNov. 18: Nagoya, Fukuoka, OkinawaThe live in Tokyo is brought to you on-the spot broadcasting on Yahoo! Honor of being a little helpful...

I had an interesting work offer. (Not "job" -it's a volunteer work)I was asked to transcribe a song early in September.The lyrics of the song are written by a patient of muscular dystrophy.The musician who composed this song asked me to write the musical score.I came up with an idea as I transcribed this song- how about writing English version of this song?I asked him when I delivered the musical score I finished, and he kindly agreed to the idea.I'll share the details later -since now I'm busy translating and arranging this song -and I need to learn about muscular dystrophy.◆ :Ready to place translation depending on request

Hironori Okano is coming!

Debut single of Hironori Okano, who wrote "Gratitude" in Chikuzen's "Indigo" together (See Jun. 5, 2007), is on sale on Oct. 24: "Lemonade".This song was performed at Chikuzen's "Welcome to My Room" tour.The official web site says:Male singer-songwriters in great success recently such as James Blunt, Daniel Powter, James Morrison, MIKA-Their appeals are simple: really good works and really good songs.Hironori Okano is the one with great sense as a songwriter and peerless voice.He represents emotions anyone feels in daily life with universal words and melody, and creates more than universal music. Set list of Cornerstones 4

Songs included in Chikuzen's "Cornerstones 4" have been announced. I've never heard some of the songs before, so right now I cannot think up English names for those songs-Please wait until the album is on sale.I wonder who could guess all the 10 songs right. (See Aug. 28, 2007)Chikuzen's new single "Sayonara (good-bye) / Soshite bokuwa tohouni kureru (and I am at a loss)" is coming on Oct. 17.And album "Cornerstones 4" is coming on Nov. 14.

Night view of Kobe

It's difficult to take a picture of night view with a cell phone...On Aug. 31, I went to a concert of Chikuzen Satou and Shinji Akita in Kobe.It was the first time they performed together.I had a great time, of course.I took this picture of the night view while I was waiting for the return bus.As I placed on Aug. 28, Chikuzen's next covered album "Cornerstones 4" is coming in November.And before that, a single "Sayonara" (good-bye) is coming.B side is "Soshite bokuwa tohouni kureru" (and I get at a loss).They performed this song at the concert -and since I hadn't heard the original, I listened to this song for the first time.Some songs performed at the concert might be on air on "Hiro T's Morning Jam", 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. on every Monday to Thursday on FM 802.

Chikuzen's next work

Chikuzen has already started to work on his next cover album:"UTAJIKARA (power of songs) -Cornerstones 4" In this album, he selects 11 Japanese songs from 1975 to 2000.The record company is inviting the expectations of the songs included in this album on a special web site.If we can guess all 10 songs right, except for "Sayonara" (good-bye) -which is released as a single-, one pair can win a trip to Hawaii.-But how can I do that?It was 1995 that I started to look for and listen to my favorite music by myself.And songs written before I was born can be selected.

Golfer Chikuzen

On Jun. 6- New single "HEY!/ Gratitude"This day is the final day of "Welcome to my room" tour at Okinawa; Chikuzen accompanies himself alone on whole stage.'Gratitude' was written with Hironori Okano.Although Okano hasn't made his debut formally yet, Chikuzen praises his talent and musical sense.On Jun. 4, at Festival Hall in Osaka, Chikuzen and Okano performed this song together.And Okano's 'lemonade'.Okano performed with Chikuzen four times during this tour.On Jun. 20- New album "Indigo" and DVD "FIVE BIT STORY III"According to Chikuzen, the title "Indigo" is derived from a proverb meaning "A disciple sometimes outshines his master".Due to the schedule of other musicians, Chikuzen's next tour with a band is going to start in next spring.It's not release, but on Jun. 10 and 17, songs performed at Cross Your Fingers Vol.11 on May 4 are on air on Midnight Fingers II, Chikuzen's regular radio program on FM802.

Next new plan

I decided to visit a live bar somewhere around Sakai-Higashi again since the end of March.I asked if I could visit my friend for a live party on Jun. 10, the second Sunday in June.But he told me that the live party is on the second Saturday, not Sunday, from June- so not 10th, but 9th, June.Besides, I had to make reservation to perform there; it's not free-for-all.Anyway, I asked him if they let me perform on Jun. 9: The data does not matter.The theme of this stage?
