第5回 強豪国に学ぶサッカー
シュート!?ゴール!? 先日、ブラジル人の方とサッカーについて話す機会があったので、そのときに感じた事をお話ししたいと思います。さて、上にも書きましたが、あなたは「シュートとゴールの違い」を本当に理解していますか?結論から言うと、ほとんどの方がこの違いについては理解していると思います。しかし、これらの言葉を正しく使えているのでしょうか? 日本において、「シュートで終われ!」というような言葉を指導者やサポーター、選手の方々が使うのを良く耳にします。戦術的な理解をするならば、攻撃するということは少なからずチーム全体のバランスが守備よりも攻撃に傾くため、その打開策として用いられていると思います。つまり、シュートを放つ事で一度プレーが途切れるため、陣形が整えやすくなるわけです。もちろん、場合によっては、シュートしなければ得点する事ができないという意味も含まれていると思います。 ここで、あたなは何か違和感を感じたでしょうか?違和感を感じなかった方のために違う見方をしてみましょう。例えば、試合中にある少年がシュートチャンスであるにもかかわらず、シュートを放たずに攻撃が失敗してしまったとします。指導者をはじめ、サポーター、選手からどのような声がかけられるのか・・・想像してみてください。 ・ ・ ・「なぜシュートを打たないんだ?」という疑問の言葉でしょうか?それとも「いまシュートが打てたよ」というアドバイスの言葉?「次は頑張ろう!」というような励ましの言葉でしょうか? 今から私が言う事は、「別にサッカーなんて勝たなくても良い」とか「勝たなくても楽しければ良い」という考えの方に強要するものではありません。しかし、サッカーとは点を取るスポーツです!強豪国になりたいと思うのであれば、その部分の意識を高める必要があると考えられます。つまり、「第3回 強豪国に学ぶサッカー」にも書きましたが、日本のサッカー文化は勝つ事に対する目標設定がとても低い可能性があるのです! ブラジルでは「シュートしろ!」ではなく、「ゴールしろ!」という言葉が用いられるそうです。サポーターからは「ゴール!ゴール!」という応援がされるのです。「シュートをした事で達成感を感じる選手」と「ゴールをした事ではじめて達成感を感じる選手」、この違いは大きいと思いませんか?我々は、シュートを放つ事で達成感を感じる選手を育ててしまってはいませんか?_____第1回 強豪国に学ぶサッカー第2回 強豪国に学ぶサッカー第3回 強豪国に学ぶサッカー第4回 強豪国に学ぶサッカー
