BATS!!! YEY!!!
I was honored to be invited as a judge at BATS Theatersports this evening! While I was in Oregon, My Friend and BATS coach William sent me a message asking if I was interested in being a judge as he heard I was going to be in San Francisco for this weekend. It was really sweet of him to ask me this.. and I was really honored! The reason why I come to San Francisco is to take trainings at BATS for they have excellent coaches who are skilled and also able to perform so well. The reason why I couldn't take the BATS summer course this year was that I was participating Asakusa Samba Carnival which was scheduled on the same days that my favorite Longform Class was schedule..so... I have been missing BATS people... and it was always great to see them performing.I really hope that I can perform like that in the near future. As a judge, I could have an opportunity to raise my request;)so I requested I wanted to see something Japanese. Both teams did great jobs!!well.... I will be improvising and learning tomorrow at Marin County.I am taking Sue Walden's workshop called "Living beyound your limits".The description of the workshop is as the following..This workshop is packed with improvisation exercises and various playful activities that, while being great fun, will powerfully support and guide you into a larger version of yourself… one with fewer limits and where you are more creative, more courageous, more resourceful, more resilient and way more confident. This will be held in Tokyo in March!! Will keep you posted!!
