河口湖ブートキャンプ参加の記事を英訳してみました。

The boot camp means the training base for the boot (new soldier, rookie) of the United States Armed Forces, but it is used also for the severe training meeting generally.
The meeting I attended was severe training for the English conversation hosted by Scott Perry who was a specialist of the English pronunciation in the world.

We had not permitted to use Japanese even one word during the course. We were divided into two groups, red and blue, and we played several games of communication in English and were evaluated the ability of conversation as the group and personally.

The participants were predominantly women, but I was relieved a little because there were two men other than me. It is first time to meet them all, but they were very kind and earnest to learn, so I have spent the wonderful 3 days.

I was impressed deeply by the lecture of Mr. Scott. That is important to exhale all the air of the stomach to pronounce the English after inhaling the air fully to the stomach, and that is the same when we sing a song.

In addition, when we speak English, we should pronounce strongly and weakly now and then and it is also important to speak fast and slow occasionally. It seemed to become sleepy in the flatness-like talking and it was same when we gave a lecture in Japanese. When I lectured before, there were many audiences who dozed off. It might be monotonous, because the lecture did not keep strength and weakness and fast and slow rhythm.

I wish my English ability improves greatly by the participation to this boot camp.
