I went to a used book store yesterday.
I found a book on Indonesian language there.
I have never studied Indonesian, but I am interested in every language.
So every time I go to used book stores, I check out to see if there is any book that is about foreign languages.
I was checking out the book to see what it is like sitting down on my heels.
It seemed to be interesting and not so difficult, but I was wondering if I would buy it.

Suddenly a clerk came to me and said
“ Please stand up. You can read books only if you are standing.”

I said “what?”

She repeated “You can read books standing, not sitting.”

I asked “Is it a rule here? I am just checking it out to think if I should buy it or not.
Still should I stand up?”

She said “Yes, please.”

How stubborn she is!
I almost wanted to say to her “Hey, I need to talk to your boss! ”
But I quit. I thought spending time for such a b*t*h was a waste of time.

Instead I just said to her “OK. I’ll leave here, if you insist.”
And I left there right after that.
