オフィシャルLINEの中のタスクの１つの「プチ翻訳の部屋」で私が書いている
「サナンとヤン」という２匹の猫の出てくる童話です。
（数行ずつ童話が日本語で送られてくるので、それを翻訳してみるタスク。１日数行でいいので、英語を書こう！という意図あり。）
原文は日本語で配信しているのですが、英語で読んでみたい、という声をたくさんもらっているので、
英語の方を（Julia監修）シェアしています。
（ちなみに、書式は話のかたまりでまとめず、学習者用に１文ずつ分けて改行してみました。）
そして、イラストは私の友人が描いてくれていて、「地味カワイイ！」と人気です。

They got to the boarding gate but still had some time, so Yan started flipping through the guidebook she just bought and Sanan opened her bag of snacks.
Just then, they heard an announcement.
"The flight for Planet Sand is paging for Mr. Bear. Mr. Bear, please make yourself known to our staff."
As they talked about how Mr. Bear was also going to Planet Sand, it became time to board the flight.
People started making a line.
Then, they heard the announcement for Mr. Bear again.
They looked at each other, "Could it be he's still sleeping at that cafe?!"
They ran back to the café and saw Mr. Bear sleeping face down on the table.
They shook him, saying, “Mr. Bear, the rocket is departing.”
But he was deeply asleep and didn't look like he would wake up anytime soon.
