オーディオブックを聞いていたら、"...the coldest eyes she had ever seen"みたいな、最上級＋～ever～の表現に2度ほど続けて出会いました。
「よく聞くな～」と思い、先週からマイブームの正規表現で、英辞郎（第4版）を検索してみました。

全文検索（F2)で、検索文字列にthe most .+ ever を入れて、
検索辞書は和英辞郎だけ、訳語のみの検索結果の一部です。

「モナリザ」は,史上最もよく知られた名画かもしれない /// The Mona Lisa is perhaps the most famous masterpiece ever painted.

est .+ ever で、同じ条件で検索したら、倍くらいヒットしました。
