Since we moved to our new flat/house (it is difficult to define what we have. Our place has 2 floors - 1st floor and an attic, so it looks more like a house but we have my sister-in-law living downstairs…), I have become more passionate in cleaning. Before moving, I cleaned our flat once a week but mainly by a vacuum cleaner. Now, on top of vacuum cleaning, I clean all the surfaces by “Zo-Kin”. My husband is happy because I had rarely done it despite his complaint that it is normal to do it in Belgium every week (like his mother does!!).
Cleaning someone else’s house and your own house is completely different. It is strange but I feel more attached to MY house and I feel like cleaning it more often. As a result, I ended up cleaning it twice a week! Today I vacuum cleaned it & then cleaned with “Zo-Kin”. It is somewhat easier to clean with “Zo-Kin” in Belgium than in Japan because I do not need kneel down on the floor but can use a long T-shaped stick. After cleaning the house, I do not want anyone to enter it with his shoes on… So, I decided to ask all our visitors to remove their shoes at the entrance. I did not dare to ask a policeman to do so when he came to check if we were living in this address, though… Some people have an easier acceptance to my request than the others. These people tend to ask for slippers… But we do not have any slippers for visitors. My husband does not like this new rule and insists that we need to buy slippers… I did not know how difficult it is to ask people to remove shoes… I wonder how other people manage to do so… お気に入りの記事を「いいね!」で応援しよう
