Today's our destination was the Château de Fontainebleau and Barbuison. I had planed to go there by train. As it would be a great adventure for me, I had tried to prepare for it carefully. First of all, I bought two zone 1-6 mobilis and headed to the Lyon SNCF station. We changed metros at the Bastille. Just before the station, the metro suddenly went up above the ground and surprisingly the Canal Saint-Martin and the golden decoration at the top of the colonne de Juillet came into my eyes. At Lyon station, with following the arrows, we got the SNCF station easily. I was surprised by the crowed people all over the station. I checked the departure time of the train we would take and found we would have to wait for about 40 minutes. As I looked around, a decorative staircase came into my eyes. Nobody went up there, but the fantastic staircase invited me. On peeking into the restaurant at the upstairs, I was moved by the air of substance. According to the leaflet, it was built for Expositions universelles de Paris and is exactly the same as it was. While taking a rest there, I felt as if I had slipped back in about 140 years ago. At 10: 05, our train departed. Although it was only 40 minutes trip, it was really fun to watch the landscape go by from our train window. As coming closer to the Fontainebleau-Avon station, old rural houses came into my eyes one after another. How fantastic! After arriving the station, we transferred to a bus. From the bus window, we saw various flowerbeds along the street. Several kinds of flowers beautifully harmonized in each flowerbed. I love such kind of flower combination very much. The village was full of flowers. I was really impressed. The Château de Fontainebleau was much more marvelous than we had expected. Each room had its own taste. On coming out of there, we found it was raining. Unfortunately for us, it became heavier and heavier. At last, we ended up giving up the plan to go to Barbuison.
