オフィシャルLINEの中のタスクの１つの「プチ翻訳の部屋」で私が書いている 「サナンとヤン」という２匹の猫の出てくる童話です。 （数行ずつ童話が日本語で送られてくるので、それを翻訳してみるタスク。１日数行でいいので、英語を書こう！という意図あり。） 原文は日本語で配信しているのですが、英語で読んでみたい、という声をたくさんもらっているので、 英語の方を（Julia監修）シェアしています。 （ちなみに、書式は話のかたまりでまとめず、学習者用に１文ずつ分けて改行してみました。） そして、イラストは私の友人が描いてくれていて、「地味カワイイ！」と人気です。 その⑦はコチラ！ ー－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－ Sanan and Yan ～その8～ While they chatted, freshly made pancakes, hot tea and a jar full of honey were served. Squares of butter were melting on the stack of fluffy pancakes. They looked good.  Mr. Bear poured a lot of honey into his tea and onto his pancakes. The jar of honey was emptied out. He explained to Sanan and Yan who looked surprised, "My hibernation is coming up soon, so I have to have tons of honey."  Before they knew it, he had finished his pancakes and tea. "By the way, where are you guys going?" Mr. Bear asked. "Planet Sand, because our aunt lives there..." Yan replied, but he yawned and looked very sleepy.  "Excuse me, I'm a bit sleepy. I am going to take a nap for a while here." Mr. Bear said, so they decided to head for the boarding gate. When they turned around, they saw him sleeping, curled up in a ball.  They paid the bill and got out of the cafe. Yan looked at the receipt and said in surprise. "I thought it was expensive, I just realised the bill includes Mr. Bear's food." "There must be something to us meeting like this, so I guess this is our present for his hibernation," Sanan said with a laugh.  They headed to the boarding gate. There was a bookstore on the way, and Yan bought a guidebook for planet Sand while Sanan checked out a sweet shop again.  "Oh, they have a new flavor again! Pearl milk tea flavored popcorn." Even though Yan had told her not to buy any more sweets, she couldn't resist buying a bag. She hid it in her tail. They headed to the boarding gate.  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
