I'm chavin' it !!
Have you ever heard about "Chav" ?? According to "Chav world" ( http://www.chavworld.co.uk/ ) ....What is a Chav? 'chav' (slang) - a young person, often without a high level of education, who follows a particular fashion; Chavs usually wear designer labels including the chav favourite 'Burberry', and if they’re girls, very short skirts, large hoop earrings and stilettos. Chavs see branded baseball caps as a status symbol and wear them at every opportunity. Normally found hanging around shopping centres. Also known as Townies, Kevs, Hood Rats, Charvers, Steeks, Stigs, Bazzas, Yarcos, Ratboys, Chorer, Skangers, Scutters, Janners, Kappa Slappers, Scallies, and Spides. Also known as Neds in Scotland, knackers & skangers in Ireland, and Guidos in the USA What is a Chavette? A chavette is a female chav - Normally seen wearing sportswear, fake designer gear and large hoop earrings. I'm sorry S-chan!! (who works at a Burberry shop..)But living in one of the popular holiday destinations for Britons, I have to say I see lots of Chavs in here!! They speak loud and their looks are exactly what's mentioned above (from "Chav world")!! Therefore, they attract "normal" Brits' attention and make them cringe..The description of "Chavette" reminds me of teenage mums in London.Typical teen "Chav" mums are wearing large hoop earrings, Nike sweat suits (and of course, caps) and pushing prams with cigarette hanging out of their mouths and are accompanied by their Chav friends. They somehow always have ponytails and panda eyes! The following site ( http://chavscum.co.uk/index.php ) has online "ChavScum shop" and I like the men's T-shirt with "i'm chavin' it"(from McDonald's) on it. I don't know if they are seriously sold there.Have you seen Chavs ? Or are you a chav ??
