ヨーロッパ　Ａ　博物学　１　創世記今日の真夜中の一時頃から更新しようと思ってyoutubeのサイトを確認すると・・・。動画が削除されていました。それは約５億４２００万年前から約４億８８３０万年前までの「カンブリア紀」を紹介していたＢＢＣ（英国放送協会）製作の動画です。古生物学もやりたかった私は、そろそろ古生物学のテーマで記事を書こうかと思っていました。しかし、まさかの削除！！ずっと以前に準備していたのですが、体調が悪化したのと他の話題をアップ致したかったので、わざと遅らせていました。でも、この結果に。カンブリア紀以前の「先カンブリア紀」も説明しようかと考えながら・・・。この時代の造物主による試作品のような想像を絶する形の生き物たちをご案内致して、それらがカンブリア紀の最後に起きた「全球凍結」で全滅し、全球凍結から地球が元の温暖な状態に戻った事を説明していこうと考えていました。全球凍結はカンブリア紀以前の「先カンブリア紀」、つまり８億年前から６億年前にも起き、その時に原核生物の藍藻類が全球凍結以後に一気に増えて、それまで酸素が殆ど無かった地球に現在の酸素濃度に相当する大気が形成されました。この様に水が液体状態で存在する適度な公転軌道の地球でも、何回も生物が全滅した事を説明しようと思っていました。肝心の動画が無ければ・・・また捜してみます。さて、そのＢＢＣの面白い動画を見付けましたので是非ご覧下さい。無用な説明は無くても判って頂けると・・・。Europe A Natural History 1 Genesis

TET 2014 Vietnam. Tet 2014 Saigon我が国では既に旧正月の習慣は過去の物になっていますが、中国・韓国・ヴェトナムでは旧正月が盛大に祝われています。高校生の頃から、当時の南ヴェトナムの首都サイゴンのショロン地区（華僑が多く住む中国人街）に居た華僑の人と、大学生になっても文通していました。本当は漢字文化圏（日本は東端）の南端のヴェトナムの文化風俗を知りたくて、ペンパルを捜していて巡り会ったのが華僑の彼女でした。結局、広東語を話す彼女（どう云う訳か日本語が上手！）とは日本語で（私は北京語しか判らなかったので）手紙を書き、文通を続けていたのが懐かしいです。当初の目的は果たせませんでしたが、彼女のお蔭で多くの事を学び、漢字文化圏に住む我々が多くの共通遺産を持っている事を知りました（これは韓国のペンパルからも教えられた事です）。下記の動画をご覧下さい。２０１４年のテト（Tet＝旧正月）の様子が窺えます。途中に書画の場面が有りますが、昔は漢字しかなくフランス人の宣教師がヴェトナム語ローマ字表記法を考案したので、現在はローマ字で表記するようになっています。昔のヴェトナム知識人は、我が国で言えば漢詩や唐詩などの漢文を書けなければならず、漢字だけの万葉文字の様にヴェトナム語を表記していました。TET 2014 Vietnam. 私の癒しの時思うように身体が回復しない時、私は排蕭の響きと唐詩に癒しを求めます。李白・・・を聴くと・・・やはり日本人（中国文化圏の一員）だと・・・。中国では、私達が忘れ去った楽器を今尚使って居ます。この奈良の正倉院に置き去りにして居る「排蕭」もそうですし、弥生時代の銅鐸も中国では現役です。他にも私たちの記憶に無い楽器が多く現役で・・・。さよなら李香蘭行かないで平安夜云河李白-春夜洛城聞笛・・・

西日本の両墓制に関する考察

西日本の両墓制に関する考察「はじめに」ふと私が子供の頃の事を思い出し、母の実家へ行った折りに連れられた所に、「埋め墓」と称する両墓制の片方の墓が在った。西日本で特に近畿地方、瀬戸内海の塩飽諸島などで多く見られた「両墓制」・・・現在ではその墓制習俗が廃れてしまって一部の地域だけで残っている。「問題点」本来の日本人独特の「穢れ」、「祟り」などの思想的な背景から、遺体埋葬地と死者供養の墓地（墓標）を分けていた習俗だった。しかし土葬や追葬の葬制から火葬に変化した現在、遺体の汚れは火葬の火で浄化されたと考える事で、埋葬地と墓標とが一致し一般的な墓地として広く広がったものと考えられる。この両墓制の墓制習俗を、如何に評価するかが今後の課題になると思われる。「両墓制」１；埋め墓　　遺体を埋葬する墓で、この埋葬地には簡単な石塔、卒塔婆、自然の木などを目印に遺体を埋葬し、埋葬以後はその地に立ち入る事は無い。２；詣り墓全国的に見る事が出来る墓で、石塔や角塔墓、笠塔婆などが建てられるが、遺体の骨などが墓石内に埋葬されていない。両墓制にはいろいろなパターンが有るが、私が確認した範囲の香川県西部の山間地の習俗では、神社の裏山の谷にその「埋め墓」が在り、詣り墓は集落の近くの墓地に建てられ、どちらかと言うと石塔が近接した状態で並んでいる。また塩飽諸島の島々では、海岸や山など集落から離れた所に埋め墓、集落の近く若しくは寺の近くに詣り墓が建てられている。中でも特徴的な両墓制の墓制習俗を見る事が出来るのが、高見島、志々島などで埋め墓を「霊屋」と云われる小さな建家で覆っている。佐柳島は霊屋を建てずに、木で出来た人形を立てているのを見る事が出来る。ここで同じ香川県なのに陸上部と塩飽諸島では両墓制の墓制習俗に違いが見られる事である。これは、水軍としての強い習俗が、陸地の習俗に混じらずに独自の習俗として残ったものと考えるのが妥当と判断出来る。「むすび」この様な墓制一つでも地域的な習俗の違いを見る事が出来る。特に葬儀儀礼は、古代弥生時代・古墳時代の「殯（もがり）」が地域ごとに変化して残っている。いわゆる「通夜」は、この「殯（もがり）」が短縮した形として残った習俗で、沖縄地方の洗骨し改葬する習俗は「殯（もがり）」そのものに近い。しかし、大化の改新以後の「薄葬令」に依って「殯（もがり）」は簡素化される運命にあった。それ以後の仏教的な思想に伴って、日本人の「死生観」が変化し死者への恐れが弱まってきたのも原因の一つとして考えられる。上記のような歴史的な変遷から、大和朝廷支配下の地域や独自の習俗を持った地域では墓制制度に地域的な変化が見られ、火葬儀式が普及するまで両墓制が残った地域が在ったのではないか。今回は両墓制を元に我々の習俗を分析したが、他の習俗を解析する事で日本人像をもっと詳しく見る事が出来ると感じる。
